Spending millions to prosecute farmers in the south for draining old pasture grounds while investing millions to clear and drain land 500+ km away from where the grain is needed. Make it make sense.

@SE_ResearchFarm The technical aspect of research is not given enough credit. The point of the scientific method is that any experiment is repeatable. Some of the papers I've read itd be surprising if the lead was even able todo that on their own without the help of the original lead technicians

What separates intellectual and technical contribution to a scientific trial? Is the difference how established or common the knowledge or technique entailed is? I'm asking because there seems to be large differences in how this is interpreted for purposes of publication.

@parviewfarms Price of fats haven't changed in a year an half, feeders made their money last year, basically back to break evens now if you looked at calf prices. Good for cow calf guys though. Long time coming. Guess the dairy crosses lucked into that market run up too

I get a kick out of people who feel they are getting screwed if the next guy in the chain makes a profit, despite being paid very well for their product. Would prob be happier losing money so long as the next guy loses too.
