I replaced the bandage yesterday, with the help of my nurse-in-training daughter in law. It's gross. From time to time I find myself reliving the trauma of the accident and get pretty distressed. Last night I hardly slept because of the pain. I kept it elevated, but the drugs weren't touching it. Extra strength Tylenol, codeine, etc. I did sleep some though, and don't feel too bad today.

Very sad to report, Joe passed away Saturday. … 🙏that the unbelieving residents will stop resisting God, allow Him to come within, a Life Eternal with Him & all those who believe in the Mighty Name of Jesus, as their Lord & Savior, Amen

@JasonSilver i was a special ed teacher and dyslexic, myself. Reading comprehension requires concentration. Stop watching TikTok, video games & other instant gratification internet traps. A 10 second attention span makes comprehension impossible. Never make excuses for being a lazy reader.

Yesterday a young man came up to me after church with tears in his eyes. He told me he is dyslexic, and cannot read well. Years ago someone introduced him to my scripture songs, and he has been able to soak in the word of God ever since! He said he's my top listener on Spotify. What a humbling and beautiful affirmation of God's work through me, especially meaningful after losing some of my finger on Saturday. Thank you, God.

I’m so sorry you are injured. It is a shock to your body and mind. Be easy on yourself. Set a Timer your medications and don’t delay in taking them. Especially in this first week or two. Ask your pharmacist, how to best alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Lastly, as silly as this may sound, when your mind hits that awful, visceral flash, say soothing words aloud to your body. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator. Praying for your healing and peace of mind. 🙏🏼

@JasonSilver Bless your heart😓 I'm so sorry you're having to go through this! When my son cut tip of his finger off he said the memory would strike him out of nowhere and make him a bit nauseous for a min. I'm praying the pain gets better!!!!! Keep us updated 😊
