@holechek77808 @TheEXECUTlONER_ @SilasUnleashed Good grief. My daughter is a single parent, doing it ALL on her own with no financial help. So you can stick your opinion where the monkey stuck his chestnuts.
English

@TheEXECUTlONER_ @SilasUnleashed Where is her husband? Or is the federal government going to be her husband

This young woman finds out she is pregnant for the first time.
She calls her mom in with a scared look on her face and instantly her mom knows and tells her it is going to be alright.
It was actually her mom’s idea to take the test. 💯
Pregnancy can be scary, especially for a young woman for the first time but to have a mom like that? She immediately hopped into ‘we will figure this out and you will not be alone in this’,
“Momma’s got you.” 🥹
It beats the I told you so’s and you didn’t listen to me and all that jazz.
That young lady won the lottery with a mom like that. ❤️
Do you remember telling your mom you were pregnant for the first time? Was she happy? Wash she upset? (I hope not).

@fivesolasmom I haven’t been back since I was maybe 9 but have a lot of memories of it
English

I remembered something randomly yesterday that happened when I was a kid. We lived on a dead end street in a little blue shingled house in a sleepy suburb of Columbia, South Carolina, that in retrospect had quite a lot going on. To the left of our house was the landlord, who was wealthy beyond belief because he had a swimming pool. He’d throw big neighborhood pool parties with barrels of boiled peanuts, beer, and country music. He was always nice to the neighborhood kids and I’d sometimes watch old movies in his air conditioned living room on the plaid couch with his grandson. Across the street from us was a single mom with seven kids, the youngest was a girl my age and the rest were boys. The house only had two bedrooms which the mom and daughter occupied. The boys slept in an old RV in the backyard fitted with bunk beds. I spent a lot of time in the long hot summers at her house which always had lucky charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal (we were a plain Cheerios and Raisin Bran only house). Her mom had crystals and read fortunes and was dating the landlord. She wore really short shorts and had platinum blonde hair, was obviously crazy but always sweet to me and once gave me one of her precious crystals which I treasured. We knew her and the landlord were having problems and one night woke up to the sound of gunshots. In the morning we learned that she’d found out he was cheating and had gone to his house during the night and shot him. Thankfully it was only in the leg and he decided not to press charges. Things just sort of went on as usual but she didn’t come to the pool parties anymore.

@Ken_FiveSolas Happy birthday! Can we switch ages? I’m 68 today.
English

@JasonSilver I feel for you. The pain is even worse than when I had two c-sections. Praying.
English

I replaced the bandage yesterday, with the help of my nurse-in-training daughter in law. It's gross. From time to time I find myself reliving the trauma of the accident and get pretty distressed.
Last night I hardly slept because of the pain. I kept it elevated, but the drugs weren't touching it. Extra strength Tylenol, codeine, etc. I did sleep some though, and don't feel too bad today.

@VOIDEARTH0 @unlimited_ls Right, because he couldn’t possibly have hit his head. 🙄
English

@unlimited_ls Must have been drunk, or on heroin..or shit, maybe he was just mentally retarded and had zero survival instincts. 🤷🏻♂️

🚨NEW: Father of two died after getting trapped in a Boston subway station escalator while more than a dozen people walked past him without helping
Steven McCluskey, 40, lost his balance while going down an escalator at Davis Station in Somerville just before 5 a.m. on February 27
Surveillance video shows his coat getting caught in the escalator as he desperately tried to free himself
As the fabric tightened around his neck, McCluskey eventually collapsed at the bottom of the escalator
Video released by the MBTA shows multiple people walking past him without stopping to help, including one man who watched briefly before walking away
An employee finally stopped the escalator more than 20 minutes later before medics arrived and performed CPR
English

@gembyfreb @unlimited_ls Right, because he couldn’t have hit his head or anything, 🙄
English

@unlimited_ls Terrible story. He must’ve been on heroin or drunk. He’d have to lay there long enough without resisting for the slow escalator to envelop his coat deep enough to start choking him. Even then if sober his fight or flight would kick in and he would maneuver himself
English

@Nessi3_the_G6 @unlimited_ls Oh please. Just read comments on Facebook and you see people making jokes when someone dies, making fun of people, etc. That’s in EVERY part of the United States, including the South.
English

@unlimited_ls And this is why I don't live back up in the Northern regions (or any liberal state) anymore. The city residents simply don't care about anyone else but themselves. 'They're always in a rush to go nowhere,' a family member used to say to me.
English

@GloriaP67166475 @wilsonhlthcoach I don’t like beef or eggs. I do like ground Turkey.
English

@wilsonhlthcoach Blood work came back and PA's advice "eat less carbs". Insulin Resistance on "co-pilot" gives the very outdated "eat whole foods, veggies, lean meats and fish." I want to do carnivore but can't handle beef, pork and eggs.☹️
English

For anyone trying to lose weight by eating what you think is a healthy "well-balanced" diet full of vegetables, fruits, complex carbs, and lean meats.....
My extremely malnourished daughter had to start eating carbs to put on weight.
My husband eats carbs when he wants to put on weight.
If I eat carbs, I put on weight.
Don't believe the nutrition and fitness community when they say you need carbs.
You don't.
Especially if your goal is to lose weight.
English

@ImJimR87 He’s 5, he means sarcastic. I have to work on not saying that, lol.
English

@ImJimR87 I confess I do say “nice turn signal.” And to those who won’t slow down to let me merge, especially when they want to be in the lane I’m in, I look at them, wave my hand and say “thanks for letting me in!” My grandson then asks “are you being artistic?”
English

I say this or “well, it’s amazing that car doesn’t have turn signals”
Mistress Dividend@mistressdivy
Anyone else always have to say “nice turn signal” every time a car is turning without one?

@JasonSilver You’re welcome. I’m so sorry. I’ve prayed and will continue to.
English

@fivesolasmom Thank you for your prayers, I am really upset and need them desperately
English

@LyndaSangster2 @wilsonhlthcoach Me too! It was a gift to me from my parents for Christmas in 1984. My dad wrote in it. They have been gone many years and that devotional means the world to me.
English

@wilsonhlthcoach I have that devotional. Have had it since maybe 1984. Was given to me by my boss at the time.

The eye surgery went well.
She was a bit nervous in the beginning, but she did great and can't wait for them to do her other eye.
She was ready to go within 20min after they brought her out.
Immediately upon leaving the surgery center, we left the parking lot and were waiting at a red light.
She says....
"Mom, I can read that street sign, and it's not even blurry!"
Then, as we drove through the city towards the freeway, all I could do was find signs and say....
"Can you read that one? What about that one?"
She could read them all.
By the time we got home, her vision was a little blurry, most likely due to dilation and swelling, but she can see colors now.
She said that with her other eye, everything just looks dirty, brown, and blurry.
So, an eye that just had surgery and is dilated and inflamed already has better vision than her other eye.
I can't wait until it's completely healed. She's going to see better than she ever has!
Also, I bought her and I a devotional journal. They came in the mail last night.
This is the one her PCP recommended.
She's not a religious person, but she believes in God and knows who Jesus is.
I told her she might find connection and peace in scriptures 🙏

English

@mjebersol @AMS_Perkins She’s the absolute best. She’s *real,* & doesn’t hide struggles she has, she’s like a friend sitting at your kitchen table.

My husband dedicated 14 years to serving in the USMC, enduring multiple deployments. After his time in the Corps, he faced new challenges including a traumatic brain injury and PTSD.
Unfortunately, years after serving, he fell into alcohol addiction. I didn’t know my husband was an addict, until we had separated. Today is 187 days of sobriety for my husband. He is no longer hiding in His sin and is experiencing life. The Lord continues to restore our family and marriage. With God, all things are possible. To Him be the glory!
English

@ImJimR87 @JimmyParker87 And thank you for wishing us a Happy Mother’s Day!
English

@fivesolasmom @JimmyParker87 I see you liking tweets occasionally. That’s interaction.
English

How is it that @ImJimR87 only has 900 and some followers? Figured it would be 9,000 and some.
English

@ImJimR87 @JimmyParker87 😱 I may say very little, I’m just the quiet one in the bunch.
English

@JimmyParker87 I was up to 4000 about six months ago. I deleted many followers who never interacted, weren’t used, or were obvious bots I had missed earlier. Many follow yet never interact in any way. I consider them to be stalkers.
