That’s Leeds safe as far I see it. Trying desperately to look for the positives here. Forest home to Burnley next but in the 5 games after they have a run of fixtures where they could potentially struggle to pick up points. The same applies to West Ham. If we can get any sort of form together, it really isn’t as over as it feels right now. My optimistic but also realistic predictions for the points the respective teams will pick up in the next 6 games. FOREST Burnley (h) 3 Sunderland (a) 1 Chelsea (a) 0 Newcastle (h) 1 Man Utd (a) 0 Bournemouth (h) 1 6 points - total 39 WEST HAM Palace (a) 1 Everton (h) 1 Brentford (a) 0 Arsenal (h) 0 Newcastle (a) 0 Leeds (h) 3 6 points - total 38 SPURS Brighton (h) 1 Wolves (a) 3 Villa (a) 0 Leeds (h) 3 Chelsea (a) 0 Everton (h) 3 10 points - total 40 This means we would go in to our last game of the season against Everton needing to win which makes me feel physically sick just to think about. But I’ll believe til it’s no longer possible. COYS

@AliceTalksFooty He pulls the hair. Per the laws, it’s a red card. No wiggle room. The laws are silly here because that’s not what a reasonable person would consider violent conduct.

I’m sorry but there needs to be an actual pull for it to be a red card, thats so soft! He touches the hair, but barely pulls it. Licha now suspended for three games 😤

@shanehagan24 Almost like he’s saying “it’s a yellow if he didn’t already have a yellow”, while saying “judge it on its merit without thinking of consequences”. It’s a yellow if he hasn’t already got one? Then it’s a yellow anyway.

@shanehagan24 The issue with this take is that on the one hand DG says not to be seduced by the outcome (ie serious injury). So he argues to look at the incident on its own merit. Then he justifies it not being yellow, because outcome wld be a second yellow. Can’t have it both ways.

Spurs fans won't be able to grasp this though, they'll just blame it on some agenda against Spurs, basically any excuse other than they're shit and their players don't care because they'll get moves if they go down anyway #SAFC

@RokerReport Yet your win depended on a deflected shot that was otherwise going wide, and one of the worst refereeing displays seen all season? We weren’t good but you’ve had better results against others this year for sure.

@RokerReport The definition of reckless is of course that unintended ill-consequences may arise. That’s why recklessness itself is a yellow card offence, to stop players doing things that might give rise to injury. It’s a clear example of why recklessness is a yellow card offence.

@RokerReport Nah We’ve not got the rub of decisions all season Plenty of examples of physicality. When we’ve done it, goals disallowed or pens given. Not the other way around. Yesterday wasn’t “mixing” it. It was very inconsistent refereeing.

The pissing and moaning from Spurs fans about some of our physicality leads me to point towards the reason why they’re struggling at the bottom. You’ve got to be up for a bit of a scrap when you’re in their situation. Soft. Is that fair or harsh?

@RokerReport He shoved him. Cannot have known the consequences but there appears an intention to push the player. With two hands on his back. Foul. Probably should have been (another) yellow.

I’m sure the Spurs fanbase will be equally condemning Romero’s first half challenge on Brobbey 👇🏻 and the relentless racist abuse and death threats he’s received since full time.

@MarioNawfal If that analysis is even only partially correct the the pressing question is this: Will U.S. and European interests be best-served acting in alliance, or without such coordination?

🚨 NATO's chief Rutte just connected the dots out loud and they draw a crazy line: Iran, Europe, Russia, Ukraine, China, Taiwan, all one picture. His theory: China lets Russia keep Europe busy, then moves on Taiwan while the U.S. is drained in the Middle East and its missile stockpiles are low. The Gulf War isn't the story. It might just be the setup. @clashreport
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🇮🇷🇰🇵 NATO’s Rutte compared Iran's situation with North Korea's: negotiating can't take forever. One day, it’s too late, and they already have the nukes.

Bro, they jus blocked us from overflights. What are you sucking their dcks for? Europe has a complete new face from 20 years ago. Even 5-10 years ago. They are not the same people. 46 million Muslims, and many of them holding office power. Especially in the UK. They are no longer American allies. Gulf states stood way stronger with us. And they were being hit by missiles. The new world will be Gulf states allies, the Americas Monroe Doctrine, and the first island chain. (Without Australia)

When America was attacked on 9/11, NATO members stood with us. In fact, more than 1,000 non-U.S. NATO service members paid the ultimate price in Afghanistan, never returning home to their families. When President Biden announced his decision to withdraw all U.S. forces on April 14, 2021, more than 6,000 non-U.S. NATO troops were still serving in Afghanistan, including approximately 1,300 from Germany. That total number of non-U.S. NATO service members was roughly double the number of American service members serving in Afghanistan in April that year. And some NATO allies remained to the last possible moment. Amid the chaos of the evacuation at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport, Norwegians ran the field hospital used to treat the 13 Americans killed in a suicide bombing on August 26. As late as August 17 that year, nearly 800 NATO civilian personnel remained in Afghanistan for essential tasks, including air traffic control, logistics, communications, and security during the withdrawal of U.S. forces. They stood with us to the end. Some talk big. Some put their lives on the line to honor their commitments. That is what many of our European allies did. They were true friends and allies to us. The way we are treating them now is shameful and self-defeating. From the 2021 file: thedispatch.com/article/afghan…

@jemmm85517813 On bad days we get some electricity. On good days we get loads. Just from daylight. The whole solution to energy needs? No; no one thing is. But it’s part of the mix. And that daylight doesn’t need to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Neither does our wind. Or nuclear.

Never before has it been so important to remove a UK Prime Minister. It is blatantly clear this man is out to destroy this country to the point of no return. We can not go on like this. He is unfit for office.

France and Greece had warships and jets on station around Cyprus while the UK dithered in Portsmouth, reloading missiles and arguing with contractors about out-of-hours pay. HMS Dragon finally trundled into the Eastern Med, the sole British warship in the region – and has now been pulled off task because the taps don’t work. This isn’t ‘Global Britain’, it’s a hollowed‑out navy exposed by a Labour PM who talks tough on Iran but cannot even keep one destroyer fully operational in a live war zone.
