@FreedomMemesIRL Why would you waste your time arguing with a shitcoin like $KAS 🤣 offers no utility, no adoption just 2021 verbal rhetoric about transactions per seconds which is no longer relevant

Spent all day arguing with Kaspa bros… Then it hit me: You can’t even buy a cheeseburger with Kaspa 😭 Not one. Anywhere. Meanwhile I’m out here: • Buying Steak ‘n Shake with Bitcoin • Buying coffee with Bitcoin • Paying instantly like a normal human being But yeah… tell me more about “faster” Bitcoin is #1 on CoinMarketCap Kaspa is #55 One is money. The other is a theory. Bitcoin is king. Again.

There will be people on CT who have heard about #Kaspa multiple times but have chose to ignore it and not properly research it. Imagine that for a second: Some people have had early access to the best tech in crypto so far but have let it slip simply because it goes against their tunnel visioned obsession with their favourite and only network or because they can’t be bothered to do a bit of research. When I first saw Kaspa pop up on my feed a few years ago I didn’t pay It any attention because I thought the claims of solving the trilemma were ridiculous. About 7 or 8 posts on my feed later i decided to just scratch the surface and pop my head in the rabbit hole. Awesome decision. I bought $KAS at around $0.025 and haven’t looked back. If you are reading this and have chosen to ignore Kaspa then do yourself a favour and just pop your head down the rabbit hole. $KAS is trading just a bit above my first entry. This is your second chance. Take it. $KAS

⚖️ Kaspa vs Bitcoin 🧠 1. Mempool (Transaction Handling) Bitcoin •Uses a mempool (waiting room for transactions). •When blocks are full → transactions get stuck → fees increase. •Congestion is common during high demand. Kaspa •Also has a mempool, but: •Processes multiple blocks per second (blockDAG) instead of one every ~10 minutes. •Transactions clear much faster, so backlog is minimal. 👉 Key difference:
Kaspa’s design almost eliminates mempool congestion, while Bitcoin often experiences it. 💰 2. UTXO Model Both use the same core model: Bitcoin •Uses UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) model. •Very secure and battle-tested. •Enables simple validation and parallelism. Kaspa •Also uses UTXO. •Optimized for high throughput and parallel block processing. 👉 Key difference:
Same foundation, but Kaspa scales UTXO usage far more aggressively. ⚡ Did Satoshi Nakamoto create the Lightning Network? No — Satoshi did NOT create the Lightning Network. •Satoshi Nakamoto designed Bitcoin (2008–2009) •The Lightning Network was proposed much later in 2015 👨‍💻 Who created Lightning? •Joseph Poon •Thaddeus Dryja They published the Lightning whitepaper: “The Bitcoin Lightning Network: Scalable Off-Chain Instant Payments” ⚡ 1. Can Lightning Network be implemented on Kaspa? Technically → YES (in theory) •Kaspa uses a UTXO model, like Bitcoin •Lightning (Lightning Network) is built on UTXO + smart scripting •So a payment channel system similar to Lightning could be engineered 👉 Nothing fundamentally prevents it at a protocol level. 🚫 2. Why Kaspa doesn’t need Lightning Kaspa was designed to solve the exact problem Lightning tries to fix: Bitcoin problem: •Slow (~10 min blocks) •Limited throughput
➡️ Needs Lightning (off-chain scaling) Kaspa design: •BlockDAG → parallel blocks •~10 blocks/sec (targeting 100+) •Near-instant confirmations 👉 Result: •Fast + cheap on Layer 1 •No need for payment channels Key insight: Kaspa already does on-chain what Lightning tries to achieve off-chain. This is explicitly discussed by Kaspa developers: its base layer aims for mass payments without relying on L2 channels 🧱 3. Philosophical mismatch Lightning introduces: •Payment channels •Liquidity constraints •Routing complexity •Potential intermediaries Kaspa philosophy: •Keep everything simple and on-chain •Avoid extra layers that fragment liquidity or UX Even Kaspa’s founder has suggested that traditional L2s can be misaligned with its design goals 🔄 4. What Kaspa is building instead (important) Instead of Lightning-style channels, Kaspa is moving toward: 🧩 Layer 2 (but not Lightning-style) •ZK rollups •EVM-compatible layers (e.g. Kasplex) •Smart contract layers 👉 These are for: •DeFi •programmability •scaling beyond payments NOT for basic payments (which L1 already handles) Sources confirm: •Kaspa is actively developing rollup-based L2 systems •ZK and L2 ecosystem is expected to expand through Q4 2026 ⚖️ 5. Lightning vs Kaspa approach Feature : Bitcoin + Lightning : Kaspa Scaling method : Off-chain (channels) : On-chain (blockDAG) Complexity : High : Low UX : Can be tricky : Simple Liquidity issues : Yes : No Need for L2 payments : Required : Not required 🧠 Final Answer •✅ Lightning-style systems are technically possible on Kaspa •❌ But they are not needed and likely won’t be a focus •🔥 Kaspa’s goal is to replace the need for Lightning entirely @SatsySiren @realvijayk

@alwaysaimbig @thekaspaonion @realvijayk Honestly using @grok and asking it informed questions so it can breakdown the overall ideas, fundamentals and technical aspects of $KAS is great. You’ll find the Kaspa community on X is very informative and there’s numerous people breaking down $KAS and talking about it!

🎯 Speed alone doesn’t decide the endgame. Yes, #Kaspa is incredibly fast and one of the fastest Proof of Work networks today, producing about 10 blocks per second and even reaching thousands of TPS in peak tests. But crypto history shows something interesting. The “winner” usually isn’t just the fastest chain. It’s the one that balances security, decentralization, usability, and adoption. Kaspa might be the closest thing we’ve seen to scalable Nakamoto consensus, though. So maybe the better question isn’t: Is anything faster than Kaspa? It’s: Can anything match Kaspa’s speed without sacrificing decentralization? The real race is still unfolding. 🚀
Sukie@bySukie

Is there a Crypto Currency rail faster than $KAS or is this the end game? Kaspa is fair launch, secure through Proof of Work, decentralized, Nakamoto consensus & scalable.

@Medapl0r @kaspa_XBT @CreepDaan00 I literally always think of Kaspa like Amazon. It started off one way and just keeps developing and building. Even the price went up strong, came back down and then it’ll be getting ready to launch soon like AMZN🚀

Jeff Bezos said people will always want faster and cheaper. In the here and now and in the future. So he based his entire business model on the premise that this will always be true. He spent billions and billions of dollars optimizing logistics. And it paid off. Kaspa is the Amazon, Walmart and tesla of crypto. Nothing else even comes close. Every single narrative crypto has Kaspa can do. Every single problem crypto has Kaspa doesn’t. When you design a protocol with every other cryptos strengths and none of their weaknesses. You get Kaspa. Imagine that. If you design it to be perfect than it is. Study Kaspa!

@Kaspanero @Medapl0r @silganator1 💯 I think it’ll take time for adoption and building but it’s all coming. Kaspa is building in real time what the market needs and it is so close to happening. Kaspa will be a revolution in blockchain (cough cough DAG)!!!

🚨 Why Retail Will “Never” Return to Crypto Retail investors didn’t disappear. They just got burned. In 2021 many people jumped into altcoins and NFTs at the peak and paid the price. Then in 2025 the memecoin craze pulled them back again and the result was almost the same. After getting wrecked twice, a lot of retail now believes crypto is nothing more than a casino. Many of them have moved to stocks because it feels safer and more predictable. That is exactly why the market currently feels slow, quiet, and almost boring. Retail activity is low and most of the action is coming from whales and large institutions. But this phase is actually very normal in crypto cycles. Big players usually accumulate when the market feels dead and when retail has already lost interest. They do not buy during hype. They buy during silence. Once they finish loading their bags, the narrative changes very quickly. All it takes is one sudden move. If #Bitcoin prints a massive green candle out of nowhere, the headlines start, social media wakes up, and FOMO spreads everywhere. Retail always follows excitement. They chase momentum and usually arrive late. And when that wave begins again, strong projects with real technology could benefit the most. Networks like #Kaspa, with its blockDAG design and high speed transactions, may start getting serious attention once liquidity flows back into altcoins. So the current silence should not be mistaken for the end of crypto. Very often it is just the calm before everything moves again. 🚀

It’s been 4 years building on Cardano. Never received Catalyst funding, none of my projects generated enough income to survive, and I never complained. But after this long with nothing really changing, I guess the only thing left to change is me. I currently have four products ready for production, all built around the Cardano ecosystem, but I’m not sure waiting for “better market conditions” here will ever make sense. So I’m exploring Solana and Base to migrate them and launch there instead. If anyone is building on those ecosystems and would be interested in joining forces or helping with migration, I’d love to connect 🚀

@Kaspanero @Medapl0r @silganator1 I mean long term I’m seeing it top 5 probably top 2 or 3, but even just in the mid to short term, if something in the low billion MC starts running FOMO will happen. With all the HODLing and good token structure of Kaspa it’s def going to out perform a lot of blockchains!

@Medapl0r @Kaspanero @silganator1 If Cardano could hit nearly a 100 billion market cap, I find it hard to imagine Kaspa doesn’t get somewhere up that level, especially with actually having legit tech and fundamentals
