Scheme don’t mean a damn thing if your players ain’t built for the fight. Toughness, discipline, and strain win more games than any playbook ever written.

Why does Indiana have short practices? It’s not about doing less. It’s about wasting nothing. Cignetti learned early: Less exposure = fewer injuries. Fewer injuries = more continuity. But the practices aren’t just shorter. They’re sharper. Over half the time is scheme communication and job assignment reps. They’re rehearsing decisions. Practice days are mental so game days can be physical.

That time in 2013 when Les Miles had LSU do the Harlem Shake. Highlights include, Zach Mettenberger’s continuous pelvic thrusts, Jalen Collins wrestling with an over-sized purple and golf soccer ball, Odell Beckham, Jr. as Bert from “Bert and Ernie,” and of course Les Miles grooving to the beat.

New England Patriots OC Josh McDaniels - Learning Defense - If you want to be a great offensive coach, you need to learn defense at an elite level. Once you fully understand the defensive scheme/rules of your opponent, you can attack/stress them with maximum efficiency.

🚨 XOS COACHING - HOUSTON, TX 🚨 We’re fired up to announce Grant Gunnell as the XOS Quarterback Coach serving the Houston area. @grantgunnell7 Grant is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks Texas has ever produced — the all-time Texas high school passing leader with over 16,000 yards and 195 touchdowns, Army All-American, Elite 11 QB, and Texas Ford Built Player of the Year. I had the privilege of coaching Grant at both the University of Arizona and the University of Memphis, and what separates him isn’t just production — it’s resilience. Grant navigated multiple coaching changes, system transitions, and battled injuries, yet continued to lead, compete, and grow at the highest level. That journey gives him rare perspective: ▪️Adapting to new systems ▪️Responding to adversity ▪️Leading through uncertainty ▪️Preparing the right way every day Grant brings real experience: ▪️High-level college football ▪️Competing in multiple offensive systems ▪️Leading locker rooms ▪️Navigating recruiting and development the right way If you’re a quarterback in Houston who’s serious about your craft, growth, and future — you’re getting coached by someone who’s lived it. 📍 Houston, TX 📲 DM @xoscoaching | @xos_houston to get started #XOSCoaching #QuarterbackDevelopment #HoustonTX #QBTraining #HoustonQBTraining

If I had one wish from the football genie, it would be this: coaches take a look in the mirror and be more accountable. So many coaches I know do not put players in a position to be successful. They have no self-awareness and yes, they blame players. Many overload them with useless info, erratic communication, ask them to do things they just can't. You'd think in the NFL this isn't a problem—but to me it's one of the biggest, especially defensively. Every week when I watch film, I see coaches asking players to do things that just don't make sense.

They didn’t choose the person (Udinski). They didn’t choose the system (Kubiak). They didn’t choose the relationship (Daboll). They chose continuity. Joe Brady is the bet on the quarterback. JOSHUA PATRICK ALLEN. This is not a revolution or a reset. Rather, it’s an attempt to preserve what McDermott built while removing the ceiling they believe existed late in games. This is the organization putting all its chips on “Josh Allen will carry this.” #BillsMafia
