@SamMonsonNFL The crazy thing would be when someone tries to explain to me that trading for a near the end of career former star for a 1st rounder five years down the line is really the same as trading a 6th round pick so its no big deal.

You can already trade picks 3 years in advance, we shouldn't be in a position where a trade is unable to exist for lack of collateral gradation. I just don't see the problem we're trying to solve with this tbh. It's all downside, no upside.

When you've run out of ways to screw up the franchise so need them to create more

@NinerStats @Jason_OTC @GBGraphicz That’s not accurate. OTC has an error. It combined all four void years into one void year in 2029, but that’s split between four years instead (2029-2032). So the dead cap hit is way less than $20.7 million in 2029
