@DarrenArsenal1 This actually makes me not trust the process. Carabao we got 0/8 and CL 1/8. Carabao we applied in pairs and thought makes sense to apply individually for CL. Absolutely gutted. Law of averages does apply to me given your comment also.

Im not complaining as i know its random. But out of 11 applications accross 2 Cup Finals to all be on standby is bad luck. Law of averages doesnt come into effect for me. Ill be able to find but see a lot giving up already. I expect standby to be offered due to eye watering face of the ticket prices. Trust the process even if it makes it hard sometimes. At least i have 1 from phase 1

When I visited Minnesota, what the ICE agents wanted more than anything was to work with local law enforcement so that situations on the ground didn't get out of hand. The local leadership in Minnesota has so far refused to answer those requests.

To be clear about what this depicts: An immigration officer threw a woman onto the ground. Alex Pretti, a registered nurse on scene as a legal observer, is filming and goes to help the woman up. He is then pepper sprayed and thrown to the ground for no discernible reason. Many officer surround and assault him; one removes his firearm, which police say appears to have been legally registered. They then execute him with a hail of bullets. They are, objectively speaking, both cowards and criminals, while Pretti is what we teach people an American ought to be.

An update. So @Qantas have responded to my official complaint apologising for the inconvenience but not apologising for them trying to have my eyes out and quoting nearly $4000 to amend the flight time despite a new ticket being <$1800. They respond ‘ The additional amount communicated to you represents the fare difference’ but how can that be so? It’s not, basic math says it is not. So very simply they see it as normal cost of business to have the eyes out of a full paying customer. Extremely insightful. #qantas #airlineripoff

@Qantas please explain how you think it is ethical to charge $3879 to amend when I can even buy a business ticket online for the same flight for $1756?

@Qantas is this normal?. Been on hold for over an hour trying to amend a booking. Suggest you need to hire more support staff, unless you believe this is a normal way to treat fare paying customers
