I have gained a unique audience. One where the vast majority is extremely smart with their money, they invest well, into great profitable companies, the "risk" they take is investing in companies that are slightly more volatile, or paying a slightly too high PE. Overall, my audience makes a lot of money. Then I take a look at Caleb Hammer's channel, and it highlights what a LOT of people are actually like. They're completely idiotic with their money, to the point where they're actively destroying their chances of wealth. The self-inflicted wounds people do to their finances are deep. So we can argue if Mastercard is a better buy than Visa, those are fine arguments to have. But just remember if you're even considering these types of debates you're better off than 95% of people.

The EU end game on censorship just advanced a step, the proposal for "Chat Control" has gone forwards. And the recent 140M fine on X will be the key. The aim? Complete scanning of all private messages and photos 24/7, but on a "voluntary" basis since the previous mandatory scanning was (rightfully) vigorously opposed by the people. Since 2022 or so, the EU has been pushing for removal of encryption and the real-time scanning of all private messages and photo libraries. They just got approval and now it goes for vote. They were forced to remove the "mandatory" scanning and made it voluntary, but the recent X fine shows the strategy. Make it voluntary, but make up huge fines in other areas if social media and internet companies don't comply, thereby making scanning, in effect, mandatory. X was approached by the EU to censor, X refused, EU made up fines in other areas. The same lever will be applied here. Voluntary will become mandatory.
