@zengugi Strongly agree, I don’t think it’s right to expect her character to fall in line w/ what we think we want. We should let Hokazono cook what he’s cooking and see it for what it is, regardless of our own biases.

I'm okay with Chiaki being dead as long as she's a well-written character. If her death is what sets Akemura and the whole plot in motion, then it’s a solid narrative choice. (much like how Toji served as the trigger for everything in JJK.)

not sure what the community consensus is. i think it would be more interesting if chiaki isn't dead and is indisposed for some other reason, though the rest of the cast believes her to be dead. if she is dead it's fine, but there's a lot you can do with an alive chiaki!
