There are waaaaay too many Johns in this community. I'm encouraging ya'll to just call me "Zoz/Zozi". It's a GT i've used for like over a decade and it's the name I wanted on Twitch anyway but it was taken. Maybe someday I'll rebrand, but the name makes convos too confusing

My music goals for the year: -Memorize the notes on the fretboard -Memorize the notes in all 12 major chords 28 years of playing guitar/bass and I never bothered with this. Thankfully, it hasn't been as painful to learn as I expected!

Why are people hating on the Focusrite Scarlett? It has always been a decent interface. The latest version is pretty dang good. A lot better than anything Behringer offers lol.

@EndersFPS I recall you addressing this on stream once when someone asked why you don't run your own community server. Your response was along the lines of "our community is sweaty AF. No one's gonna have a good time." The matches would feel like SBMM, except everyone knows each other lol.

It's wild to me how we always circle back around to the same thing with Battlefield... -"Classic maps will make the game better" -DICE releases classic maps -Maps dont play as good as the original -"We need more original maps" -New maps dont play well -"Classic maps will..."

@BattleNonSense @SgtDangerCow I've always argued that bad rambo revives are just as detrimental as players who skip to the respawn screen. I've been calling for something to tell medics to NOT revive me when it's a bad time to do it.

@SgtDangerCow What I'd like to be able to do in a downed state is reliably spot enemies around me that are a danger to the medic that tries to res me. Also replace the "res cancel" with a "its unsafe" - only allow res cancel when no medic is around. i.imgur.com/RZkUF6C.jpg

@Lex_mate 1. Control over the server region you play in 2. Predictable map rotations (no repeating maps) 3. Persistent servers. No matchmaking between rounds 4. Ability to play with more than a squad of 4 without hassle 5. It's easier to congregate with a community of players

@RinoTheBouncer Right now I think I prefer E33 over Rebirth. Despite being a loooong time FFVII fan, i couldn't finish Rebirth. It might be one of the few games I've played with TOO MUCH content. E33 has a pacing that I appreciate now more than ever

Objective icons are in the way a lot in Battlefield 6! I did a deep dive into the icon opacity settings and made a video going through my findings. Watch full video here: youtu.be/fIarUo0lJ5s In past Battlefields, we would adjust the Objective Icon Opacity settings both zoomed and non and move along with our gameplay being able to see. In Battlefield 6, these settings don't work right now. They are being overridden by a new section in the settings called Aim Based Icon Opacity which is a really neat (albeit confusing) section that actually gives the player a lot of control over how they want the icons to appear. There are some ways we can adjust these settings in the current build of the game to get close to removing obtrusive objective icons from cluttering the middle of the screen but there are some large drawbacks.

@VersoVerse I can't think of too many games where conversations flow like this. Often, it feels like VAs lines are recorded, pasted together, and played in a sequential call and response manner. Small details like interruptions can go a long way to make a conversation feel more believable

@HotSauceZee I remember when the battlefield had actually great Binaural audio in BFV and 2042. I remember being able to enable it via the "3D Headphones" setting... where the same setting is now DISABLED when using stereo headphones... I still to this day do not understand this decision

The center points in Mirak Valley in Battlefield 6 are I think excellent places to judge how accurate the footstep audio is in the game. There are a ton of entrances to these points both above and below and with proper footstep audio, you should be able to tell where an enemy might be entering from. The last patch did a decent job making them more audible but is anyone else finding that the directionality of footsteps is still rather misleading?

@HotSauceZee The opacity settings thing is annoying af. I can tell they were trying to do a good thing for granularity with the aim-based opacity settings. But the fact that they override EVERYTHING is a sad, but expected oversight from DICE

Here is another video for the visibility files in Battlefield 6. This one is a great example of enemy player models blending into the environment. His head looks exactly like the cluster of sandbags behind him. There are two other things happening here as well that kept me from seeing this guy immediately. One is his teammate (whom I Q spotted before this engagement) acts as a very good distraction, drawing the eyes left. That's fine and is bound to happen. The other is the Objective marker directly behind the head glitching guy which I can't get the opacity to go down on because the settings are weird/bugged. Perfect storm to utterly hide this enemy from me.

Just wanna vouch that Expedition 33 deserved every award it received. Including GotY! I never expected a game to ever release that brought a modern take on the golden age of PS1 era JRPGs at its level of quality. The hype is VERY MUCH deserved! Should've won best audio, too 😏

@Rickshade3 I stand by what I've been saying about defibs to this day. Not my problem that DICE "rebalances" them in the usual tone deaf manner. -Add charges that replenish on cooldown or slow the time between activations -reduce no charge revives to 20 hp. 50 is too high

Idk why defibs needed a nerf from beta. Only people crying were streamers who don't usually play Battlefield becasue they lacked tactical awareness. Now the damn things barely work 🙄😮‍💨

I want to like Eastwood. I like the aesthetic and when the map is (mostly) in tact, the gunfights can be fun. My enjoyment dissolves as fast as the cover on the map does. I simply can't figure out how to move around that map after it's been totally flattened out.

@Tea_Manuel @JundaFPS In a perfect world, we'd have both. I know with certainty that the enemy shot me from an angle that's actually possible, and I could comm with my team their location with accuracy. With the way games flow in BF6, i question if it's a good idea to go back to the old kill cam.

@DRUNKKZ3 @schumiAuditore @EndersFPS @tiggr_ Visibility is fine. Check your corners. Check your positioning. Hug cover as much as you can. Don’t assume everywhere and everything is safe. Stuff like this makes you a better Battlefield Player and promotes stealth plays/captures. The changes will make the game too easy.
