Had a v interesting founder call the other day. The founders said that some of their large (angel) investors only want positive monthly updates. 🤔 But they’re having BIG challenges and can’t share — and need the angels which may lead to more $$. How should they navigate?

Since losing my mum I’ve notice how little people, even family, will approach or ask the question “how are you going with losing your mum” or even enquiring about it and it makes me so sad not because I feel like they don’t care like you might think, but because it doesn’t give me the option to talk about her, and that’s all my grief wants me to do, I want to talk about how she always wore coconut body scents because she loved the way it smelled, or that she refused to wear anything other then boot cut jeans because she was worried anything else would make her ass look flat. I want nothing more than to talk about her because I can’t talk to her and that’s heartbreaking, so ask people about their deceased loved ones when it’s a safe space to do so, I’m sure their eyes will light up with love and grief at the opportunity to share it with you for a moment.

I am in absolute disbelief that my brother took his life yesterday. I informed the police of his 'final messages' to me and so we did all that we could to find him while he wasn't answering his phone. The police found him too late in the bush at night... the memory of seeing his car and the bush that was beyond it is something that I don't think I'll forget for a while... my brother was dead in there. I had just gone to grab a torch from a nearby hardware store to join the search, and when I returned, that is when they broke the news... I can't believe this is real. I love you Charlie and I'm so sorry that I didn't do more as your sister to help you. I have failed you. I could have done so much more to make things okay. I hope you are at the peace that you wanted for so long. I don't know how I will get through this... but I thought you all should know. I don't know when I'll return to streams, but I can't possibly go online any time soon. I don't even know if I'll make it back to streams. I may be reading comments and messages, but I'm not replying to anything, so please do not take offense... there is a lot to sort out, being his next of kin... thank you.
