@prof_smartass @herosnvrdie69 we work for a general contractor company and we have a small group of guys at a plant. We do all kinds of Rigging, welding and pipe fitting. This job was moving a 1000 pound fan out of this room so we were picking it up and working it forward with chain falls

The guy who was hurt was “in charge” and had been doing this for 30 years so we just didn’t think to say anything. We also were aloud to wear cutting shields…

@herosnvrdie69 Had a guy die right next to me about a month ago, I just started this job so i didn’t know we should have secured the tubing we were rigging off of. Chain fall got caught and jerked the beam forward and came down right on his head and he had no hard hat on. We all miss him

@JaxxTalks @iambatmann @unusual_whales Your fine unless the world collapses…. Obviously depends on your location as well. I would stay away from CA and FL. Most areas appreciate at a consistent pace over a period of time. You can always refinance at better rates, may just take a while.

I figured the housing market will only be going up so buying asap was the best move. I hope i haven’t screwed myself
