People choose pettiness as it requires no patience, grace, or vision. It offers fleeting satisfaction while eroding character. Class & magnanimity, however, demand restraint when provoked, generosity when wronged. Winning is easier than winning reputation. Play long games.

Life rarely changes in a positive way without an increase in responsibility. That can mean taking ownership of your health or committing to a relationship or starting a business. Whatever it is, if you want the trajectory to change, the amount of responsibility usually has to change.

Dreams are fun when they are distant. The imagination loves to play with possibilities when there is no risk of failure. But when you find yourself on the verge of action, you pause. You can feel the uncertainty of what lies ahead. Thoughts swirl. Maybe this isn't the right time? Failure is possible now. In that moment—in that short pause that arises when you stand face to face with your dream—is the entirety of life. What you do in that pause is the crucible that forges you. It is the dividing line between being the type of person who thinks about it or the type of person who goes for it. When I really think about it, I want that moment to be my legacy. Not that I won or lost. Not that I looked good or looked like a fool. But that when I had something I really wanted to do, I went for it.

Even the best athletes lose their magic without pressure and practice. Same is true for best talent at work. Excellence is a rent paid everyday. Not an asset that you own forever.

Earning grows with skills. Skills grow with uncomfortable learning & experiences. Anyone’s earning is directly correlated to how often they update their brain like an app and not resist it. Most hate troubling their brain and get offended when you try to correct them.

Disciplined people are more likely to be rigid in other aspects of life. Those who can combine discipline to execute with open mindedness to learn and change, achieve more.

People are now finally waking up to the reality that: only a handful of families in India are getting rich. Let me tell you the reason WHY as well: [1] In countries like Singapore/UAE, critical resources are held by the government. Example: Consider Telecomm. SingTel is owned by Temasek Holdings, which is in-turn owned by the Singapore Government [2] In India, money was collected from Taxapyers. BSNL built the infra. Now, "private" players are benefitting and getting rich from this. [3] There is a reason why: most of these private players stick to India. And, find close to 0 success abroad. Because in India losses can be socialised. And, any wins can be privatised. Sorry to tell you the reality: We are a deeply corrupt nation. And, if you are an honest/hardworking/middle class person, you will struggle to live a good life.
