Grateful for the opportunity to attend NACAA/AMPIC 2025 in Montana. A big thank you to Montana State University for hosting an excellent conference! I was fortunate to have some time off to explore nearby national parks: Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton.

Today the @FSHS_Hort agro-ecology and natural resource section toured the Echo North America Impact Center in Fort Myers, FL. Echo is a Christian-based international development organization dedicated to increasing food security through sustainable agriculture.

Graduate students at Arden housing community in Palm Beach county today collecting soil samples and facilitating cover cropping in the summer. BMP grants sponsored by @FDACS are helping small size farms with the effort. @JayCapasso @NoelManirakiza @SoilWaterSci @EvergladesREC

This past week I attended a six-day workshop @UGAGriffin on DSSAT, a crop modeling program used to simulate agricultural systems and their interactions with climate and environmental conditions. Great experience learning alongside 70+ professionals from around the world! 🌾

Soil sampling down to 2.5 meters (8 ft) using a geoprobe in our long-term sod-based rotation project.
