@pbasilstrength But if you’re working with large groups it can make organization easier. The max doesn’t have to be right, just close. Then use submaximal percentages that increase over time. Add in some AMRAP sets every couple of weeks.

Why I don't use percentages for many teams: 1. They don't know what their max is 2. They don't know what any percentage or RPE should feel like (see #1) 3. Their max will likely increase rapidly, so it won't be accurate for very long 4. They just need progressive overload anyway

@muscleforlife Who cares why they lose weight? Some people need a kick start and it changes their life. Also nobody says yeah your blood pressure is only low because you take medication. You only have low APOB because you’re on ezetimibe.
