Raising valid concerns about the style of football Arsenal play not being sustainable is very reasonable…
12 points ahead (a game more played) a couple of weeks ago has turned into level on points with Man City (who lead on goals scored).
How is that not any reason to be unhappy?!

When Arsenal get on a bad run, there are people who will sit on here whingeing and raging and sniping all day. They think they are protecting their feelings (they’re not- it doesn’t work) and they think there is some value in being the first to say ‘see! I told you everything was shit!’ (Even though nobody cares if you were). But none of it actually has any use, it doesn’t make the ragers and the snipers feel better, ultimately and it just irritates everyone else. Misery loves company and only ever produces more misery. Best not to engage, purse your lips and whistle that’s the thing, etc 🙂

They signed Nico Gonzalez for £65m in 2025 January window just because Rodri got injured, he wasn’t good enough, and they binned him.
They signed Reijnders last summer for £70m, used him for a few games, he wasn’t good enough, they binned him instantly.
Now they’re about to sign Elliot Anderson for £100m.
That’s close to £250m spent on a single position in the space of a year, no other club has that kind of financial luxury.
This is what Arsenal are up against, financial cheats with endless pool of blood money. All their trophies are asterisked in my eyes.

Whilst Rosenior had to go, it’s difficult to feel as though Chelsea’s problems will be fixed until the Sporting Directors are moved on too. The amount of money spent coupled with the likelihood of missing out on the Champions League is the definition of a ticking time bomb.

There was a time (around 2015) Arsenal’s midfield roster consisted of Wilshere, Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla, Rosicky, young Ox. Prided themselves on having the classiest players itl.
Compare it to what they have now (Rice, Zubi, Merino). Arteta has destroyed the fabric of that club.
