@Bulldogwgr @travisyost I've noticed a real decline in the sports audio mixing department. Even in football when I know the crowd is crazy at the stadium but the levels just seem tamped down. Probably guys mixing in studio using ear buds instead of professional headphones or monitors?!?

@travisyost The weird audio inconsistencies you’ve been mentioning were very present in this game. One moment crowd is roaring, next it sounds like the announcers are not even there. And don’t even get me started on what Pens/Flyers sounded like in headphones. (Was on a plane)

I went up to Mississauga for the Scotties this year with one goal: Meet Vic Rauter.
He graciously spent 10 minutes with me before his broadcast, most of which we spent talking about Buffalo!
It was a great honor, and I'll miss his voice on curling dearly

@SalSports Hey @SalSports -- these exist in Canada too. In Hamilton and surrounding area they have things called "ham rolls" or "turkey rolls" and they're fundraiser/meat raffles! Also the Canadian legions do them as well.

My mom had never been to a meat raffle. Had to convince her to come tonight. In the very first game/third draw. she won a bag of wings and huge bottle of hot sauce. I think she’s totally hooked now. 😂

@TheSpec This one is for the parents who cried and bitched to keep it open and instead close Barton and Hill Park despite the fact that it was going to cost twice as much to renovate as those schools. The legacy of that decision lives on, by the sounds of it!
