- Pat McAfee & Jelly Roll are somehow at the center of a World Title feud with over 20 years of history. - One week out from WrestleMania and there are still 25K tickets unsold for both nights. - They're announcing ticket price discounts live on the show. - The WM stage construction is delayed. - No Melo, Ilja, Iyo, Charlotte, Tiffany… and the list goes on. - Rhea Ripley vs Jade Cargill has been reduced to a “who’s gonna be That Bitch” at Mania. - CM Punk is mentioning Roman’s dead father on the mic. - Roman is calling him an “old ass bitch” and “punk ass bitch” in response. - They ran Intercontinental Title qualifying matches on WWE Main Event. - More focus on celebrity appearances than actual meaningful storylines. My Expectations were low but HOLY FUCK. THIS MIGHT GENUINELY BE ONE OF THE WORST WRESTLEMANIA SEASONS IN YEARS. 😭

It’s crazy what WWE Creative has done to try and put their “goldenboy” Cody Rhodes over. -Podcast with HHH over-complimenting Cody and his legacy -Brought in Pat McAfee because fans refused to boo Randy Orton over Cody -Turned Cena heel, but fans still refused to cheer Cody over Cena -Introduced The Rock’s “Final Boss” gimmick to bring sympathy for Cody, but fans kept cheering The Rock -Ran a “real champion” angle with Kevin Owens, but fans kept cheering Kevin Owens -Stripped Drew McIntyre of the WWE title a few weeks before WM42 with record dislikes on YouTube -Gave Cody a full-blown coronation at WrestleMania 40 and built an entire “new era” around him -Had Randy Orton cut a promo about how Cody is better than him, after Cody won the title at WM40, along with numerous other talent -Had Cody win 2 back to back Rumbles, Crown Jewel, etc. If you critically think on the failures of the overall WWE product over the last few years, many of the issues center around having to do Creative gymnastics around getting Cody over even when his opponents were already heelish. I’m not blaming Cody Rhodes; I’m blaming Creative. Doing the same thing over and over again, and hoping for a different result is insanity. It’s time to move on from this era into the next. Try something different and new.
