@LLawrrr @RealBrysonGray Steph’s off-ball movement and ability to shoot the ball are unparalleled. I love Steph and am a huge fan despite being a lifelong Cavs fan.
He is not why teams are shooting so many 3s these days. The analytics just show it’s advantageous and that was a trend that predates him.
English

@LLawrrr @RealBrysonGray Bro…you are not understanding. The original post said “everyone shoots 3s” because of Steph. That is not the case. Everyone shoots 3s because the analytics, popularized by Daryl Morey, have shown it to be more efficient scoring. You are discussing a completely separate point.
English

Steph curry is the reason why people are shooting 3s. He quite literally changed the game. That’s influence by definition.
LeBron can’t claim anything similar.
Jackson Mobey@JacksonMob65465
@RealBrysonGray Neither did Steph curry
English

@LLawrrr @RealBrysonGray Great. Now tell me where in this thread that is what the fuck we’re talking about. Steph made major contributions, but he’s not the reason every team is shooting a lot of 3s now. Stay on topic.
English

@JayStoneZone @RealBrysonGray moreyball encouraged role players to shoot 3s or at the rim instead of long 2s hence the very high 3pt volume. it was still the generic iso or pnr offense. It didn't pioneer for the use of set plays just to get shooters open and for main ball handlers to shoot 10+ threes
English

@LLawrrr @RealBrysonGray Bro why do you cherry-pick stats? The Rockets lead the league in 3pt attempts 7/13 seasons Morey was GM there, and they were always top 5 in attempts. Of course GSW adopted this strategy as well given the personnel, but it was unquestionably pioneered in modern era by Moreyball.
English

@JayStoneZone @RealBrysonGray This so called "moreyball" started when daryl morey took position as gm right? He took position in 2007 why did players only shoot 10+ threes a game after 2015-16 season coincidentally after the first ever unanimous mvp season
English

@BabyNld @Eli15392059 @RealBrysonGray Bro the Rockets with Harden and Russ were already doing this offensive scheme before the Warriors started doing it, and they were pretty successful. Then the Warriors saw the potential to line it up with Steph’s skill set, doubled down by adding Klay, adopted it. It’s nuanced.
English

@JayStoneZone @Eli15392059 @RealBrysonGray Analytics would be buried in the dirt if it wasn’t for Steph nobody would copy a losing strategy you’re definitely trying to diminish Steph’s influence but that is your right so🤷🏾♂️
English

I don’t mean to sound like I’m trying to diminish Steph’s influence. He is a big deal in the history of basketball, and he perfected shooting to a point that the warriors built around it, but the 3 point revolution was driven by analytics and Daryl Morey, not a specifically player.
Steph’s contribution is showing the elite shooting that is possible, off-ball movement skills, and how to work around height disadvantages, etc
LeBron showed the impact of high-IQ floor general, position-less basketball, bringing back unselfish team basketball, etc
Both highly influential, but to relegate it to “Steph is more influential because people shoot more 3s” is a clown take is my point.
English

@JayStoneZone @RealBrysonGray No shit it’s about individual players but I would be doing a disservice to the entire team to not mention the warriors as a whole alongside steph. But sure bro😂😂
English

What you’re talking about is an entire offensive scheme that played to the strengths of the splash bros, that ended up being wildly successful and adopted by many. That is not even a specifically Steph phenomenon, it was started by the Rockets before the Warriors adopted it. This thread is specifically about individual players’ influence.
YOU DO NOT KNOW BALL.
English

@JayStoneZone @RealBrysonGray Bro the entire nba shoots threes because nobody could beat steph and the warriors. Nobody is saying there is a steph clone out there. We are saying the teams are shooting 40+ threes a night because of what Steph and the warriors did with the 3 ball over those dominant years
English

@RensingTrades I am fine with it, because I have years of income potential ahead of me. Boomers would hate it, because their income has mostly already been earned and taxed. Boomers hate it, so it won’t happen.
It would probably be on-net beneficial for the average person though.

At least you got mass deportations.
At least tariffs brought back US manufacturing.
At least you got no new wars.
At least you got inflation in check.
At least you got rid of the fraud.
At least you got high-level pedophiles arrested.
At least you got glyphosate liability removed.
At least you got a modified, sensible childhood vaccine schedule.
At least Republicans finally cut spending.
At least you got…fucking duped.

@DanCrenshawTX Which defense contractor will you be working for next year?

Tucker likes to have friendly conversations with bad people. When he realizes that he’s talking to Iranian intelligence officials that we already collect on, he pretends to be a victim of “spying.” He’s an idiot, and he thinks you’re an idiot too.
You always need a warrant to “wire tap” any American citizen. Full stop.
But if you’re communicating with a criminal and that criminal’s phone is tapped (because a judge authorized it), then your conversation is now part of that investigation. If the police also want to tap *your* phone, they would need a warrant.
FISA is no different.
Tucker knows all this but his favorite grift is to play the victim. I’m surprised he hasn’t blamed the Jews yet. Give it time.
English

@hockeyopinions9 @jvs3ph You’re stupid, so I’ll fix it for you.
Everyone on this list: never won without a great supporting cast. Basketball is a team sport that requires at-minimum a solid 7 man rotation.
English

@jvs3ph Curry - won before KD
Wade - won before LeBron
MJ - 🏆
Kobe - won with Shaq, won 2 without shaq.
Magic - never won without Kareem
LeBron - never won before Wade/Kyrie/AD
KD - never won without Curry
Duncan - 🏆
Shaq - never won without top 3 SG
Kareem - won before magic

This is easy. People just don't want to say who it is

@Claireashb25012 @ValerieAnne1970 Well it’s too bad the vaccine hardly reduces infection anyway, so you get the worst of both worlds.

@BowTiedBull Were they carrying productive debt and their income trajectory is strong? Good. Were they grinding their way up the ladder with a significant income ramp? Good. Did they start their family early and are still maintaining a decent financial position? Good. Nuance.
English

@BowTiedBull I mean it’s nuanced. To answer your question straightforwardly, of course not.
But assuming the question refers to a single 32 year old, and they’re outpacing the median household in their age range, depending on surrounding context I would say they’re doing “good”
English

In what world. It's literally below average for 18-24 year age bracket.

Ibogaine@FrogPills
@BowTiedBull Out of touch
English

@BowTiedBull When stratified by age, median household net worth is 88k for the 30-34 age range.
English

@BowTiedBull Median net worth for households headed by individuals under 35 is 39k including house and 401k
English

@FrogPills @MadnessWes47898 @BowTiedBull Net worth on an asset with debt would be the difference between the value of the asset and the debt on it. It should and does count.
English

@MadnessWes47898 @BowTiedBull Like I said, out of touch with reality you twitter f@gs are.
How many people do you know under 35 that have 200k liquid? These numbers are nowhere near accurate
English

@jerryteixeira @caloriesproper2 It seems like it’s a protein bar for people who know protein bars are a waste of money and trash, but they want to waste more money for slightly less trash. It’s niche for sure.
I would rather have a few beef sticks myself.
English

@caloriesproper2 I didn’t mean to crap on you at all. I get there’s a demand for them, unused to eat bars decades ago when I thought you needed to eat 6 times a day. I don’t see the point anymore, but to each their own.
English

If you buy enough to get free shipping:
That's over $4 per bar and $0.21 per gram of protein (range is typically $0.05-$0.10)
About 2x more than competitors; you're paying a premium for that real food, grass-fed whey protein, freeze-dried fruit, etc
