league is adding voice chat and men are really acting confused about why women don't want it like we haven't been playing valorant, overwatch, and CS for years like we don't already know exactly what's going to happen the second you speak it's one of three things: "oh shit a girl, add me after" "oh shit a girl, gg go next" or just straight up harassment there's no other option men act like we're being dramatic but we've lived this in every game with voice we know the script we know how it goes and the funniest part is men swearing "just mute them" we've been muting OUR entire existence in YOUR games we play better when you don't know we're here because the second you know suddenly every mistake is because we're a girl every loss is our fault every play we make gets questioned even when we're carrying even when we're higher rank even when we're just better it doesn't matter because even when we play at a man's best, we need to play 10x better than that for it to mean something we spoke in voice so now we're a "boosted egirl" men really think voice chat will improve communication meanwhile women have been communicating fine with pings for 15 years we learned the entire ping system we learned to type fast between plays we learned to shotcall without ever speaking because we had to and now men want us to just "give voice a try" like we haven't already tried in every other game like we don't already know that the second we speak half the lobby focuses more on our voice than the game either trying to impress us or trying to run us off the platform there's no in between so yeah we're not excited about voice chat not because we're shy because we're tired tired of proving we deserve to be here tired of the "damn you're good for a girl" tired of getting friend requests after one good game tired of callouts turning into flirting we just want to play the game but men can't let that happen they have to make it about us being women every single time so we'll keep voice off we'll keep pinging we'll keep carrying silently and men will keep wondering why women don't use voice while being exactly the reason we don't study the luumi way

One ER visit in Alberta doesn't erase the national average: 5–6 months for an MRI. That's not a conservative estimatethat's literally government data. Canada does some things better. The US does others. Pretending one system has no flaws and the other has no strengths isn't analysisit's just picking a team. You got care fast and paid $11 for parking. Great. Meanwhile, Canadians are moving south for salaries that actually cover rent, and Americans are going bankrupt because their appendix tried to kill them on a non-HMO plan. Both countries are expensive. Both have trade-offs. The difference is one lets you skip the line if you have money. The other makes everyone wait equally. That's not a bot take. That's just living in reality.

My experience on Arc Raiders over the last week has been hell. Just to be clear, I love this game and think it’s already moved in to my personal top 10 all time. But the egregious amount of cheating genuinely might be worse than peak Call of Duty. I’m not trying to bring negativity to the game because I know this type of dialogue can spread on socials like a disease but I genuinely cannot get through an entire raid without a steam profile that is level 0 or an account that has multiple game bans and VAC bans on record. I promise I’m not trying to be self righteous by telling Embark what to do next, but I think the only option they have to protect the success of this game is similar to how Epic handled Fortnite in the past — legitimate legal action against providers and individuals who are actively supplying and using cheating software. I know it’s just a game and a lot of players may not even encounter experiences like this because of the PvE and aggression based MMR but holy cow gentlemen, I’m at war and I’m getting absolutely pummeled for 8 hours straight every day. Hours and hours of looting, crafting and investment of time and resources wiped out raid after raid, over and over again. If you made it this far and read everything, I appreciate you. I apologize for sounding like a whiny, privileged streamer but I just needed to vent somewhere else other than the stream. One day I’ll come to terms with the fact that cheating in video games has reached the point in time where it is impossible for the devs to keep up with the providers but until then, I’m just going to keep complaining.

Living with heart disease isn’t just about the physical toll, it’s about the mental toll too that can hit just as hard. I have PTSD from multiple heart procedures over the years including one that left me lying awake for 7 hours on the operating table as they tried to save my life, hearing everything they said or did while staring up completely helpless and praying. I can close my eyes and still see that ceiling. It’s lower than you expect, close enough that you feel it could drop another foot and smother you. It’s not white like you would think but instead it’s a cold, institutional beige, like the color of old nicotine stains from someone who smoked. All of this, it sticks with you, and can turn every little chest pain or skipped beat into a full-blown panic. The anxiety builds up so much it becomes crippling and you never know when it’s coming. Last night, it got so bad I couldn’t move, my heart was racing, shortness of breath, and my whole body was overcome with this feeling of dread and impending doom that I ended up back in the ER, convinced I was having a heart attack. Thankfully I wasn’t having an event and I’m getting good treatment from incredible doctors. They kept me overnight to be cautious and run some more tests with my cardiac history. So far all the tests have comeback perfect and my heart is strong! Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and messages. I should be sent home today resting up and I’ll back to 100% in no time.

Obviously great films came out after 2008. I like most of the movies you just listed. Whiplash might be in my top 10 all time. It's a masterpiece. But I don't think you understand what the word "peak" means. The point is that pop culture never produced anything close to that volume of truly great films and shows after the 2007-2008 period. If you can name a two year period in the past 16 or 17 years that competes with 2007-2008, then you will have challenged by peak theory. But I don't think you can.

I'm not sure bro is qualified to say pop culture peaked if he stopped watching movies after 2008. Drive, Fury Road, Whiplash, Grand Budapest Hotel, Toy Story 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Social Network, Inception, and many more all came out after 2010.
