@ChaseForLiberty Haven't seen it, won't see it. I have no problem with shows like "Bridgerton" where Black actors who fit the parts play British nobility simply as actors, but I won't have Woke shoved in my face by actors chosen intentionally for Wokeness.

If you come to me and say "The Odyssey is terrible because its not 100% faithful to the original story" followed by "You should watch Troy", its pretty easy to see that historical accuracy to the source material isn't your problem with Nolan's Odyssey.

That’s one of my favorite movie fight scenes. But Troy was a terrible movie in terms of portraying the Iliad. The character of Achilles was a horrendously written role. Now Brad Pitt did an outstanding job as an actor playing the role that was written. You can’t fault him for that. He’s a good actor in general and did particularly well in this film, but the character is written is absurd in terms of the most important points faced by the character in the story

Why watch Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey when you can just watch Troy?

@TimelessTrvlr Yes…because the Trojan war only lasted a matter of weeks, Hector’s wife, his son and Paris actually lived and escaped, and Helen escaped as well and never returned to Sparta with Menalaus. That all happened in the Illiad…
