Just heard about Critical Role not using dice to determine important gameplay moments and I don't know if I should be either embarrassed or annoyingly bored at this point. Just stage a play already, this isn't even a game anymore.

What would yall say is the best entry for someone who has never played Final Fantasy? I'm not so interested in player the early pixel titles and I'd rather wait for the full 7 trilogy to come out before I try that one

Critical Role's Brennan Lee Mulligan ditched D&D's dice in Campaign 4: no roll needed because a PC monologue was "too good." Performance now overrides actual gameplay. This isn't D&D. It's scripted celebrity theater pretending to be gaming. They. Don't Really. Play.

people forget that kratos isn't even supposed to be in the narrative. odin sent baldur to track down FAYE, not him. his weapon was made for HER and their SON is the one that made things happen and changes their fate. if anything kratos is just a RANDO

this is her in GoW: Ragnarok (2018) Kratos cremates her at the start of Ragnarok.. so why did they change her appearance this much if this new game starts right after...?

Looks like all weapons will receive Anti-Champion functionality (perhaps no Artifact?) in the June Update. From the small weapon previews, the implication points to it being based on Frame RPM? • High RPM = Anti-Overload • Low RPM = Anti-Unstoppable • Not clear at the moment, but Anti-Barrier likely not represented because of the various Anti-Barrier effects available (Radiant, Volatile Rounds, etc). I also assume there will be no overriding if weapons have intrinsic Anti-Overload/Unstoppable when Anti-Barrier is used. I'll be posting a refreshed Champion Counters infographic in June.

I think its safe to say that a D3 would hit metrics similar to this, but you also have to factor in the longevity Destiny offers (expansions).

He’s dead fucking right. I really like marathon it’s a great PvP game and the team did great work. But it’s nothing on Destiny. Nothing is. But WE WANT DESTINY. How many more times do we need to fucking say it. Make the smart move @Sony @hermenhulst

Having to wait for the optimal artifact for speedrunning/farming would kinda suck imo. IMO the best way to do this is to allow us to select any of the old artifacts freely.
