@markgoldbridge They’re both yellows, of course (one was missed, the other was very obvious) . . . the real question is whether Haaland would have committed that act if he was already on a yellow. I suspect not, and that’s indicative of Arsenal’s lack of discipline at times.

It's mad how you can get a yellow for kicking a ball away but deliberately throwing at the back of an unsuspecting player's head is fine....it just gets worse doesn't it

Can we make it clear, the Declan Rice kicking the ball away wasn’t a red card. But it was defo a yellow card, which he deservedly received. Only reason it turned to red is because it was the 2nd yellow he got in the match. Hope this helps.

I mean, how many times does Slot and anyone with a brain need to break it down to people before it sinks in? - The club have looked at the market for #6’s - They don’t believe any of the options are a substantial improvement on Gravenberch, Endō, Jones, Mac Allister and Morton - They found one player who could have been in Zubimendi. He didn’t want to leave Sociedad for personal reasons. - They’ve decided they would rather not spaff money up a wall on a subpar talent and focus on developing Gravenberch/Jones instead.

Whether you are FSG OUT or FSG In, it is clear that it feels like more should have been done. You can believe long term Hughes and Edwards are the right men for the job, but also believe this window they have not accomplished the minimum targets they should have done.
