For any LIVE SERVICE game you need roughly 100k that number. By that I mean Marathon needs 100k versions of you playing the game daily.
They dont have that, and they are unlikely to ever get that.
Thus it is a financial flop.

When I was sponsored to play Warframe ONE (1) time for 2 hours and got hooked for the next 4 months, nobody and I mean NOBODY told me “paid to play” “hashtag ad” “you’re only playing because you’re paid to”
not once.

Marathon support feels forced beyond belief, with any and all criticism being treated as "right wing talking points" or "Gamer chud behavrior"
If they had better played their hand and were such dickbags in their defense, people wouldnt be calling them out.
And the steam numbers remain a good source of info around how the game continues to decline.
