@SydneyJones @GATEwayFATE Adding my full throated support to the idea of a formal lounge type event. I love an excuse to dress up as a character in a formal setting but also in a relaxed environment where nothing is expected of me like dancing. Vibing to a piano or lounge singer would be A+

@GATEwayFATE I think something more along the lines of a formal ‘lounge’ event mixer could be really cool & fit the demographic. I’m thinking lounge singer type performances, places for people to congregate and chat, a piano player adding ambience. Themed photo areas & drinks wouldn’t hurt!

@Malindachan Yeahhh, I haven’t found it within myself to really push myself into other platforms despite making accounts like placeholders.

@NipahDUBS I actually feel/relate to this as someone deeply introverted. I am told on a regular basis by others how annoyed or aloof I can seem at events when most times I am just worried about annoying others or seeking an escape from too much social stimulation.

Unsure how I come off at events like cons but personally, I am rather reserved/shy when it comes to speaking with people I don't know (outside of booth work of course) but tried to be more open and talkative this past weekend at Gateway. I hope to continue to improve on that.
