The continuing saga of Qantas….. After plane was discovered to have fuel leaking everywhere on the tarmac at Newcastle, wife and others were taken to stay at the Ridges hotel in Newcastle for the night. Given $30 dinner voucher. Bus back to airport at 6am. Guess what? Delayed AGAIN. Electrical fault on plane. Given $15 voucher. So instead of direct flight to Perth, go via Melbourne. Qantas changed plan again to electrical fault. Hopefully now shes boarding to to go Brisbane, then wait a few hours for a flight to Perth. By the way. Qantas had to fly an engineer from Brisbane to Newcastle to work on the plane. Privatisation. Profits, massive salaries and bonuses for executives first. Safety and customer satisfaction last. Never again @Qantas
