Brenda Biya Instagram post raises concern about wellbeing
Brenda Biya, the daughter of Cameroon's President Paul Biya, has sparked concern after posting a series of troubling statements on Instagram in which she expressed deep emotional distress.
In the post shared on her account, Biya wrote: “I don't want to live anymore,” before adding that she felt “abandoned and used by everyone around me.”
It is not clear who the people are, but this is not the first time Ms Biya is making such claims.
The message, which circulated widely on social media on Friday, includes claims that she was “manipulated to repeatedly destroy” herself and suggests she believed she was being monitored and targeted by people around her.
At one point, she wrote: “They were all working meticulously to hide the truth from me,” and also alleged that individuals were “watching” and “filming” her without her consent.
Brenda Biya, who is also known as King Nastyy on social media, has built a following as a content creator and artist, particularly on TikTok.
