@Jbm_dev Think is the problem with social media on a whole. TikTok , Instagram it’s all the same content repackaged. People jump on what is viral, few people here to actually connect genuinely, most is just to grow followers and get creator payout

honestly think the problem with the X algo is repetition i don't need to see the same content, same subject rephrased over and over on my feed where is the variety?

12 years ago i invented something and gave it away i was working my first job as a nurse and had a patient who struggled to use the standard call bell due to his condition but he always had his phone on him, and the touchscreen was easy for him to use so i found an extra call light in our store room, and brought it home for some measurements it was pretty simple, a long cable with a switch on one end that interrupted a signal and a quarter inch male plug on the other end i bought a bluetooth pcb online, and went to radioshack for a relay, an enclosure, and a female jack i cobbled together the bluetooth relay, cut an old guitar amp cable on one end, and wired it all up i built a very basic android app that connected to the bluetooth and had a giant red button on the screen that said "Nurse" his call light plugged into my box, my box plugged into the wall jack, and the app could trigger the relay just like the physical switch would i brought it to work, set it up on his phone, and he loved it. worked great. thousands of nursing homes had old school call light systems like this, and most of the people in these facilities would have smartphones in the coming years it was a great idea. i built it. it worked. but that's as far as i went with it. i didn't try to sell it, i didn't refine it i gave it away by lack of action. don't be like me. build it.
