Here is a colt that really caught my eye at OBS April that will be returning at @FasigTiptonCo May sale under @omarramirezbl : This big striding Mandaloun colt is the half brother to G1 placed Buetane & stakes placed Der Lu. He worked a zippy 21.2 on synthetic but looks like he is crying out for dirt, a true Derby type prospect. This mare, Taboo, produces some serious runners that have both precocity & the ability to carry their speed. Being by Forestry, she is a large heart carrier and also hails from family 1G; the same family as successful sires Violence and Tale Of Ekati. I’ve been ultra impressed by these @JuddmonteFarms Mandalouns - he is throwing big strong 2 turn like horses - and feel this guy is 1 of his best yet. Very excited to see how he will work at Timonium when he gets a dirt surface to run on. 🐎 💨
