@lionandlamblove The reason I even ask is because when I first deposited into firelight, my FXRP tokens were changed to stXRP, and the points earned were firelight points. Now the firelight points are called srXRP and my staked tokens are now FXRP. I have to admit, for a minute I got excited lol

@JeMiller460 Hi, far from crazy is what you are. They have have similarities but are two different things. The points are yet to be ascribed financial value while the stxrp can be used to optimize and earn currently. there's a guideline to navigate that, be sure to shoot me a follow or an inbox for that if you don't have it available. It fits Firelight’s design perfectly—stXRP stays composable while backing the risk cover layer and strengthening the covered yields flywheel. 👍 Worth considering for Phase 2.

@jrdothoughts Wouldn't it behoove firelight to only offer stXRP in (future)rewards? It seems to me this would just help to maintain liquid supply inside the vault instead of having to depend on the individual user to swap out each token reward then monitor for swap slippage before reinvesting

@qdplk22886559 That makes sense. I believe as long as the rewards are the same as whatever can be used in its initial staking be it BTC or ETH, firelight would still benefit in a productive way.

That said, using multiple reward tokens likely helps attract more participants, avoids constant forced swaps (and hidden slippage), and gives users flexibility. A good middle ground could be optional auto-compounding into stXRP so users who want simplicity can opt in without removing choice for others. Follow back for more details and information
