And so as I prepare to be Prime Minister, I thought it important to let you know my policies. So let’s start with what I shall do on day 1: Abolish income tax. This is a disgusting tax that punishes people who work. The harder you work, the more you’re punished. So from day 1 when I take over, you will pay not one penny of income tax. How can that work, I hear you ask? Well, at the moment, you pay income tax and the government squanders most of it. This way, you choose where to spend your money. Remember, everything you buy is taxed and so this way, you will choose where your taxes go, not the government. Imagine the incredible boost to the economy when millions of working people have so much more money to spend in pubs, in shops and going on holiday. The hardworking people of this country will love the incredible enjoyment they get from spending their own money on what they want and enriching their lives. New businesses will need to be set up to cope with the extra demand in spending. New shops, new pubs. More and more people earning money, spending it and paying tax on what they buy, but enjoying paying the tax because they’re spending it their way. This country will be the top of the happiness tables in the world and that’s right from day 1. I am looking forward to being your Prime Minister and making your lives so much better. Thank you.

@SketchesbyBoze I was given some books by someone I had not heard off. In my darkpit I read. I could hear a sound. Every time I listened it stopped. Half way through the book I realised; I was laughing! Amazing! God bless Sir Terry Pratchett!

I had a group of close friends in college that became a dangerous cult. I was ritually shunned & punished in very degrading ways. My best friend died. I was in hell and I read my way out. I read books I wasn’t supposed to read and realized I had to get out. Reading saved my life.
