So, I've got some good news, I’m going to be a Dad. Still feels unreal saying it out loud. I'm counting down the days and soaking in this moment before everything changes. I already know this will be the most important role of my life.

Tomorrow is the anniversary, but it was just before 11, Rome time, on Friday - today - that I had a massive stroke. Life never was, or will be, the same again, but adapting to change has brought as much reward as challenge. What a year it’s been! mol.im/a/15527637

My Lovely Horse Rescue
My Lovely Horse Rescue@MyLovelyHorseR·
💔💔THIS MORNING IN DUBLIN CITY CENTRE 💔 An innocent little mule was found tied to a fence, hidden behind flats in the heart of Dublin City. No water. No shelter. No care. He just stood there… confused, alone, and completely dependent on someone who failed him. Thanks to a kind member of the public who spoke up, and the quick response from the An Garda Síochána, this little boy is now safe. But the question is, how many others are suffering unseen? This is not okay. This shouldn’t be normal. And this cannot continue. Mules are intelligent, emotional animals. They feel fear, loneliness, and pain just like any other. A busy city is no place for them 💔💔 We are doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. 💔 Please help us continue rescuing animals like this poor little boy 💔 Please help us give them the care, safety, and love they deserve Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference. We don’t stop. We won’t stop. #AnimalWelfare #Dublin #RescueAnimals #SpeakUp #Donate donate.mylovelyhorserescue.com/one-off/ ❤️❤️ @gardainfo

Leaving Certificate orals complete✅✅ My Spanish and Irish orals are finally behind me now!! Spanish went grim as expected. But the Irish went great, my posts in Irish definitely helped. I even got a chance in the oral to talk about my Twitter 🤪 Now to get the head down for the Papers beginning on June 3rd💪🏻 #aviation #School #Ireland #Dublin #LeavingCert

From inner city Dublin to the cobblestones of the Netherlands. 958 days sober. What once felt impossible is now my everyday life. I fucking love the life I’m slowly building for myself. Sobriety gave me more than freedom. It gave me a future 😊 #nederland #holland #soberlife

May 16, 1963. Gordon Cooper was orbiting Earth alone inside a capsule barely big enough to turn around in, moving at 17,500 miles per hour. He had been up there for over a day. Then the warnings started. First a faulty sensor screaming that the ship was falling — it wasn't. He switched it off. Then something far worse: a short circuit knocked out the entire automated guidance system. The one that kept the capsule steady. The one that was supposed to bring him home. Without it, reentry was nearly impossible. Too shallow an angle and the capsule would bounce off the atmosphere back into space. Too steep and it would incinerate. The margin for error was razor thin — and every computer that was supposed to hit that margin was dead. Down on the ground, NASA engineers watched the telemetry in silence. They could see everything going wrong. They could fix nothing. Cooper didn't panic. He uncapped a grease pencil and drew lines directly on the inside of his window to track the horizon. He looked up at the stars he had spent months memorizing and used their positions to orient the ship by eye. Then he set his wristwatch. Because when you have no computers left, you become the computer. At exactly the right moment — calculated in his head, confirmed by the stars outside — he fired the retrorockets. The capsule shook. The sky turned to fire. For several minutes, no one on Earth could reach him as plasma swallowed the ship whole. Then the parachutes opened. Faith 7 hit the water just four miles from the recovery ship — the single most accurate splashdown in the entire Mercury program. The man with a wristwatch and a few pencil marks on a window had outperformed every automated system NASA had. We talk a lot about technology saving us. And it often does. But Cooper's story is a quiet reminder that behind every machine, there still has to be a human being who can look out the window, think clearly under pressure, and decide what to do next. The final backup was never the software. It was him.

Trying so hard to get Sonny a home. Unfortunately he cannot travel as he hates small spaces like a crate. So unless someone has a private jet internationally he needs a good home in Thailand. A total gentleman of a dog. We'll keep trying everything

Thirteen years ago today, I arrived in Vatican City to report on the conclave to elect a Pope. Francis was eventually chosen. I was sent back to Rome last year for his funeral. That went well… 🤣
