Flew business class a week ago out of Toronto and we didn't get to board till close to 30 minutes after they boarded pre-boards as well as families

@JustinBrady @shaunmmaguire @united I have not. That’s a great idea! But could be challenging in the event of equipment swaps…I think the best we can hope for is a quick and complete rollout.

@JebBrooks @shaunmmaguire Agreed. Have you found a hack on knowing if a particular flight has WiFi? I find it to be hit or miss. I would find it helpful if @united would add a “Starlink” badge to eligible flights.

I flew on a United flight today without Starlink and the internet absolutely sucked Got no work done If United showed which airplanes have Starlink vs which don’t I’d pay double for the former

@JustinBrady @shaunmmaguire Yes. This is a real problem! I think airlines’ marketing promises sometimes outpace the onboard reality. Instead of building the “brand,” those bold promises end up harming it.

Airlines are so guilty of this. They advertise features, like first class cabin features or meals, that only a few planes have. Delta has been “on a journey” adding WiFi for years and only has Delta One updates to a handful of routes. You’ve gotta be very discerning. Curious what @JebBrooks thinks? Is there a way to tell which routes have @Starlink?

NEWS: United Airlines is taking delivery of the first 787-9 Dreamliner with its new Polaris seat later today. The aircraft will have 64(!) Polaris seats.

@JebBrooks Great advice about picking the right seat. With SeatGuru gone, what other websites do you use to select a good seat (ex. no misaligned windows)?

We took 4 flights, back-to-back across the Atlantic to find out who has the best experience in ECONOMY CLASS!!! Any guesses? 🤔
