@Hansseco84 @Dillon_stan28 @angeldra33o KAT is marginally better on offense. Look at any stat you want. DDV was a huge part of our team. We won that trade. The problem is Randle is tasked with playing a generational defensive talent this series. That is all.

@angeldra33o 2012-2013 was not the 2020s. My contention is we didnt lose the KAT trade and weren't beating rim protection with him on the team (see Mavs). They always say a trade for Giannis is on the table and it never happens. I'd like it but I'll believe it when I see it.

@angeldra33o Really bad take here. Randle was a huge part of our playoff success last year. DDV as well. Randle is getting manhandled by Wemby on offense yes, as would 99.9% of any nba player. If we kept Towns (who sunk us 3 years ago), we wouldn’t even be in the 2nd round rn.

@Wolvesmuse 2 things can be true 1) our roster isn’t good enough to beat Spurs, Julius included 2) He is being guarded by maybe the best defender of all time (don’t even think that’s a hot take). His task offensively is nearly impossible. Finch is defending his play. It’s not all his fault.

@JacobMorley The only real North rivalry in terms of a “competitive rivalry” is Vikings Packers. Modern era Packers get their flowers but Vikings fans don’t give af. All we want is a Super Bowl. Yes beating GB every year feels good but that’s not what we want.

@florida_grand @MaineMCW42 @RonDeSantis Tiger, Jack, Player, Nicklaus, Phil, have all played it many dozens of times (outside of tournament). No other sporting event honors its champs like Augusta. That’s why it’s such a special place and tournament because at its core it’s a tradition over anything else.

@florida_grand @MaineMCW42 @RonDeSantis This is a total non issue to the tournament. If it was an issue, Augusta wouldn’t allow it. The Masters is rooted in tradition and part of that is honoring champions. It has been this way for nearly 100 years. It’s unbelievably hard to win and when you do, you get rewarded.

If he had played in 2 of the 3 Tour events during that time and played well, he probably would have earned $1 million-plus in prize money. (And a lot more if he won one of them). He gave up that money to do extra prep in Augusta. I don’t see an issue with that.

Ron, do you believe there should be a cap on how many times golfers that qualify for The Masters are able to play the course the month prior? Again, Rory did not break any rules. I’ve never said he’s broken any rules. What he did was smart and legal, but I believe gave him an unfair advantage, which calls for reform. My argument is that there’s clearly a competitive disparity, especially in this year’s tournament with the amount of times that Rory was able to play the course.
