No es casual que estén llenos todos los estadios aún con precios astronómicos en partidos aleatorios; si los extranjeros no compran, los locales copan todo. Un tamaño enorme, una economía relativamente libre y una sociedad amiga del riesgo configuran un mundo en sí mismo. Porque además de tener con qué, hay que querer gastar; y acá la gente gasta como si no hubiera un mañana. La confianza implícita en el futuro es infinita.

@heboxjongeRS The real problem are permanent hiscores. What’s the point in competing if you can’t gain ranks anymore? Jagex should really do a permanent KotS mode where you can reset accounts to try again, preserving the best records as you go.

Tick manip is not the problem. Skilling 'sucks' because we play PVM-scape. 90% of players hate what this game started out as. they hate questing. they hate skilling, all they want is to roll the slot machine. you are never going to make those players like skilling.

@ApodacaHaracio @fawfulfan @AgileJebrim We all signed a contract agreeing to abide by these zoning rules and other city ordinances. This is just upholding that contract. Don’t like the rules somewhere? Don’t buy property there. We even paid extra for the PERK of zoning, but this clearly goes over your head.

@fawfulfan @AgileJebrim You see, there is no bargaining with these kinds of people. They believe they have a right to other people's land. This is why radical landownership rights are the only path.

The urban core generates almost all of a typical U.S. city's tax revenue but most of it goes to fund roads, sewer lines, power lines et al in suburbs. If suburbs paid for themselves, rather than leaching off the city, I think a lot more people would be live and let live on this.

@fawfulfan @AgileJebrim You get much more of a monopoly of crappy mixed density communities everywhere. Both conservative exurbanites and liberal city dwellers hate it. You only get affordability by creating undesirable communities that neither side likes.

@fawfulfan @AgileJebrim I was poor once upon a time. You don’t know anything about me. The feds or state banning zoning actually reduces competition and eliminates the free market and choice offered by many small municipalities.
