The war can reach a point of 99% disfavor with Americans, but as long as that anger is diverted to safe targets Jews will feel comfortable and even join in in condemning these things. That's why a majority blaming Israel for this war is such a welcome development.

The entire purpose of narratives that divert blame for the war away from Jews is to create psychological comfort for them as the war carries on. Blaming faceless systems like the MIC or imperialism or capitalism creates a comfort space for Jews to operate within and prolongs war.

Jews in Israel are at a psychological breaking point due relentless Iranian fire despite assurances from their leadership. This is why opponents of the war here need to vocally blame Jews for it. They cannot feel comfortable. This isn't just to be mean, it's to create peace.

Israel has been pummeled all night. Based on my counts of alerts and reports of landings from open sources the number increased tonight, though there are no reports of casualties. My Whatsapp groups are filled with people having breakdowns after not sleeping for two weeks. In Jerusalem 4 alerts were heard in a 90 minute span. Iran has been able to increase the number of launches daily. Everyone seems angry at the IDF and Netanyahu for lying about the destruction of Iranian capabilities.
