I don’t have much more information…” Moments later: Denver airport reportedly has NO POWER. No takeoffs. No landings. Planes stuck on the runway… others turned around mid-air. ALERT: The airport experienced a power incident around 9:20 a.m. Certain areas of the airport are still experiencing an outage, including DEN's train to the gates. Technicians are working as quickly as possible to restore power. We will share updates as soon as we have them.

A ground stop is in effect for incoming flights to DEN. Passengers are encouraged to check with their airline for the latest flight status. Updates to come.

Please see news release regarding a suspected animal neglect and cruelty incident. (Northglenn, CO) At approximately 11:30 a.m. today, officers from the Northglenn Police Department executed a search warrant related to suspected animal neglect and cruelty at a residence near Wyco Park. Upon arrival, officers discovered a large number of pets living in what appeared to be unsanitary and undesirable conditions. Due to the scale of the situation, assistance was requested from neighboring law enforcement and animal welfare agencies. The investigation is ongoing, and the total number of animals and the extent of their condition are still being assessed. Additional information will be released as it becomes available. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Northglenn Police Department at 303.450.8892. ###
