Now that most prep ⚾️ seasons are coming to an end, I was able to "recalibrate" the WAR numbers, which just means I adjusted the total number of "wins" available to a more appropriate number. No changes to BaGS or DIGS formulas, but WAR numbers did drop. Current USA leaders ⏬.

The final week of baseball in NorCal begins today. Here are the offensive WAR leaders, by class. It's been great tracking these groups all season! oWAR combines hitting, baserunning, fielding, & strength of schedule, & multiplies by games played.

So my guys Mac and Joe were making fun of my wallet a couple weekends ago calling it a “Costanza wallet“. Great reference and probably true. They both had Ridge wallets. Wanted to get people‘s thoughts on those.

Perfect Game has a nice 10-point player rating system, where 5 is an average varsity player, 7 is a college prospect, 8 is a possible draft pick, & so on. That's based on scouting. I took my best stab at converting my BaGS/DIGS ratings to a 10-pt scale to compare. Here's c/o '25

There are 81 NorCal leagues represented on the leaderboard. Here are the toughest groups, ranked by average SOS+ (100 is average). The Sierra Foothill comes in at 36% above average, ahead of the WCAL, TRAC, and East Bay.
