@perpetua First two seasons were good, this was a huge leap. You could tell because they didn't feel the need to throw a graphic sex scene at us in every episode to keep our interest.

@CautiousLefty I haven't met a single Democrat who feels bittersweetly about this. Most of us didn't really vote for Biden in the primary—we voted for, essentially, the only Democrat we were given the option of voting for. He's been an excellent president, but another term was a ridiculous ask.

I think a very bittersweet moment for many Democrats. They elevated the future, but it was supposed to be Biden. The people voted for Biden to be the nominee. That was the expectation.

So the real special guest was the social media trends we made along the way.

dems should drop a new candidate in august in all future elections. it takes them months, years to get the agitprop machine running at full efficiency and they're absolutely clueless right now

@ffx_wave @TheStalwart Good point (and funny), but still: France and Britain alone have more medals combined than US. If you were to add in Italy, Germany, Netherlands, etc. … I dunno seems like they could come out ahead, even with the limitation you’re emphasizing.

It’s insane how good of an Olympics the US is having. We’re defeating China in the rankings, and we don’t even cheat like Europe does by breaking up our states into separate countries in order to get more athletes in.

You can see here two years ago, he corrected himself; but today he said "battle box" three times in a row, unaware of the need for correction. That near $100 million in donations will continue to be withheld unless the Dems make a change at the top. Harris is sticking with Biden and may not want to appear disloyal to him, so the Dems have to start anew: Gretchen Whitmer/Cory Booker or Amy Klobuchar/Julian Castro. If Harris is interested, I like Kamala Harris/Sherrod Brown. Others like Josh Shapiro over Brown.

@GentleDoofus The Expanse is a C+ average by virtue of swinging from A- to D+. Watched all six seasons and felt like I had seen three different shows with the same actors. Could not keep the tone right and couldn’t land the themes they’d set up so compellingly in the first two seasons

What are the worst TV shows you’ve ever watched every single episode of? Not the truly terrible shows, no one could finished those, but the C+ shows that had just enough to keep you on the hook until the end. (Mine are probably THE LEAGUE and the show that spurred this, THE BOYS)
