Standing in the way of his order is the fact that the Constitution mandates that states, not the federal government, regulate elections, and it’s unlikely that any executive order would hold up in court…until it reaches the Supreme Court, at which point all bets are off and the Justices will get to decide whether or not we stay a democracy. Even if this comes to pass, it’s not the end. But we need to be ready, and we need to be organized. If mail-in ballots get banned, we need to be ready to drive people to the polls. If voter ID gets passed, we need to be ready to help people get the IDs they need in time. Nothing will stop us from taking back our country from this would-be dictator and his psychotic cronies!
