Southampton getting thrown out of playoff final the decision was made within a week!, technically it’s a fine of 200-250m as that’s the revenue generated getting back to the premier league & being there for a season & 4 points deduction seems very very severe! Yet Man City still have no action over the 115 charges one rule for one one rule for another, I hope Southampton win their appeal.

@henrywinter Agree , they have shown no remorse. The punishment does fit the crime, they cheated. Three clubs...that's all we know about, and was likely dependant on cctv being available as proof

At some point, those running Southampton are going to have show proper accountability and some humility. Apologise to their fans, and reimburse them their Wembley expenses. Apologise to the clubs they spied on. And take their medicine. Then clear out those who sanctioned the spying. Only then can Southampton start rebuilding their damaged reputation. They may well be waiting until after the appeal before making a statement and a proper show of contrition. But extended silence simply deepens the stain on the club's reputation. (Even a holding statement would have been something). It's not fair on their fans, the ones who will still be there long after current coaches, players, sporting directors and owners have moved on. Southampton were traditionally one of the most-respected clubs in the game. Good support, developed players, attractive football. Saints. Not now. Not until there’s full accountability, publicly. Silence only adds to the shame. Pity. Good club but badly led on this. #SaintsFC

The EFL haven’t just punished us; they’ve ruined us. In addition to losing half our team, we’ll be sued for many, many millions by players, sponsors & rival teams. We’re essentially facing years of decline and pain on and off the pitch. Thats why this is disproportionate.

@SeanSlaterTHFC Ampadu gets booted in the head and he plays on. DCL onside, fouled, no penalty. VDV grabs hold of the ball with both hand, no yellow card. 13 minutes added on. Penalises Darlow for holding the ball too long and gives you a corner when this happens every game and isn’t enforced.
