They’re not homeless, they’re drug addicts” is exactly the kind of thinking that keeps the crisis getting worse.
A person can struggle with addiction and be homeless at the same time.
Homelessness is many things. It’s trauma, mental health, addiction, poverty, isolation, and a systems failure. And no, there are not enough places for people to stay.
You don’t solve homelessness by dehumanizing people and threatening to “unplug” them. You solve it with housing, treatment, mental health supports, and actually giving people a chance to rebuild their lives.
Btw, LA doesn't have enough housing and shelter.

NEW: Spencer Pratt fires back at reporter after he was asked about his plan for the homeless, says they will all end up in Seattle.
Reporter: "What are your plans for the over 40,000 homeless in Los Angeles?"
Pratt: "Well, they're not homeless, they're drug addicts... These people have been bused in by scam rehabs, scam NGOs, scam homeless nonprofits."
"These people, when I unplug them ... they're all going to Seattle, where the mayor will welcome them."
