@U_were_know If social media existed back in the day of first fight I would’ve posted the $1,100 bet ticket (Mirage Las Vegas) +2525 that paid a total of $28,875. Haven’t lost more than five bets on boxing since.

Lawrence Tanter retiring after 40 years with Lakers espn.com/nba/story/_/id… legendary PA announcer set to become an advisor for game presentation. #WhatAVoice
English

@ErrolSpenceJr And Crawford went forth winning belts at 154 & 168, including beating Canelo so any shade implied is easily eclipsed by the scoreboard.

Lakers promote Lawrence Tanter to Special Adviser for Game Day Presentation latimes.com/sports/lakers/… - this legend has been a HUGE part of the Lakers home-game experience for almost forever. Can't imagine them without him.

English

@JefferyLakes @raphousetv2 Yeah your trying to sound cool however that statement didn’t make any sense but nice try their Einstein…

@NycVipers There may be a LeBron scandal on the horizon that will absolutely crush fanboys like you! Of course, the most delusional of y’all will attempt to spin that as greatness too! We may never know what the end looks like if that happens. Believe it or not I hope it doesn’t
English

@NycVipers The only thing that’s relevant in this entire post is “Context Matters”…
And the bottom line context is Jordan NEVER lost in the NBA Finals…and LeBron lost as many times as MJ won!
Ultimately the stench of kissing LeBron’s @$$ gets in your brain & skews your rationale
English

LeBron James has never been benched in the NBA Finals for poor performance. As the primary scorer and playmaker on every Finals team he has led, his coaches have consistently relied on him to play heavy minutes in the biggest moments. Any time LeBron spent on the bench during the Finals was due to routine rest, foul trouble, or minor injuries—not because he was ineffective.
➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤
Meanwhile, Michael Jordan was temporarily benched by Phil Jackson to begin the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the 1992 NBA Finals, while the Chicago Bulls trailed.
➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤
Jordan fans call him the undisputed GOAT, yet in one of the biggest games of his career, Phil Jackson trusted Scottie Pippen and four role players to lead the comeback.
✅ Jackson opened the fourth quarter with Pippen alongside Bobby Hansen and the Bulls' second unit. That group ignited a 14–2 run, erased the deficit, and shifted the momentum while Jordan watched from the bench.
If LeBron had been sitting on the bench during a Finals comeback, we'd never hear the end of it.
Context matters.

@DogeRomeo Only a fool that doesn’t know basketball believes that! The Kobe led Lakers had a well-constructed team that was also well-coached. I’ve been a Lakers fan longer than you’ve been alive & there’s zero tolerance for this B.S.
English

@HaterReport To Fox’s credit, Brown’s firing was also the catalyst for his trade demand because he didn’t want to play for (yet) another coach.
English

@BarryOnHere What’s the win-loss record?
Here’s what doesn’t work for LeBron fanboys: highlighting his stats overs W/L’s as if his teams lose in spite of his greatness! That’s weak when you’re pass-1st, make others better
English

LeBron James' last 35 NBA Finals games:
31.9 PPG - 11.0 RPG - 8.3 APG - 1.7 SPG - 1.0 BPG - 58.8% TS - 26.6 GmSc - 12.2 BPM
Michael Jordan's 35 NBA Finals games:
33.6 PPG - 6.0 RPG - 6.0 APG - 1.8 SPG - 0.7 BPG - 55.9% TS - 24.5 GmSc - 10.9 BPM
"This is cherrypicking!!" you say.
LeBron EARNED the right to play in MORE Finals games than Jordan did, so that's why there's more to "cherrypick". Cope & seethe please.
In summary, based on STATS, not FEELINGS.
LeBron better regular season peak (2009 > any MJ year)
LeBron better playoff peak (2009 > any MJ year)
LeBron better Finals peak (2016 > any MJ year)
LeBron better longevity (duh)
LeBron better Finals competition (duh)
People will keep denying the obvious however, very sad.

@afowler06 Floyd was a master exploiter of fighters with limited skills. Sure he beat several A level fighters, but he never fought anyone of Crawford’s caliber, as Bud never fought anyone of Mayweather’s caliber either! Best I’ll say is Bud could’ve beaten him, & I’d bet Bud to win

@TheDunkCentral @HeatCulture13 Lonzo must have Kobe wearing Big Baller Brand shoes those 4 times
English

Lonzo Ball says DWade is close to Kobe
“Kobe’s better but it ain’t clear. Out of 10 days, he’s not getting the better of him all 10 days. I got 6-4.”
(h/t @HeatCulture13 )

@sonya_dumas @ringmagazine It was a great showing by Benavidez that’s all I care about
English

@sonya_dumas @ringmagazine You’d fare better just saying u r a hater & a fanboy because the business of these fights should NEVER be a fan’s concern! In your mind, Beterbiev beats DB but what he & even Canelo saw vs Zurdo is neither likely does! Stop looking for others to do your fave fighter’s dirty work
