@thurmatwit Can we just stop considering Morato or Cunha as cover at full back? Every time one of them plays there we get annihilated down that side. It's not at all good 😂

@AdamPetrie1 He was consistently excellent for the entire season, even under Ange where at times it looked like he was the only one bothered. I don't think there's another player in the team you could say that about including MGW and Anderson.

I like Neco Williams - has improved massively since his first season and is a consistent 7/8 out of 10. But I still can’t get my head around how he got player of the season over Anderson or MGW. #nffc

@ts0179 @1895cg Worst premier league of all time. We finished on 60 points 2 years ago and didn't even qualify for Europe full stop, would've got us champions league this season

A few prematch predictions… Brighton beat United and no assists for Fernandes, polite applause in the queue at Falmer. Burnley and Wolves draw nil nil, summing up a pitiful season for both. Arsenal win against a Palace youth team with less than a thousand Palace fans actually in attendance. Fulham and Newcastle play out a thriller that means absolutely nothing. Liverpool beat Brentford and Salah throws Slot under the bus again post match by singing Klopp’s name. City beat a still drunk Villa with Villa falling to fifth and opening up another Champions League spot in sixth for Brighton. Bournemouth lose to a Forest team on the beach with at least one controversial refereeing decision to miss out on the Champions League. Sunderland draw with Chelsea to guarantee Chelsea winning the Conference League next year. Spurs lose to Everton, Spurs fans invade the pitch. West Ham concede a last minute equaliser to Leeds, Nuno walks to Fulham to take over from Marco Silva. Everyone ends the season a bit disappointed, the perfect end to a mad campaign.

@DaveHo1mes We're precisely one Ange Postecoglu away from the top half, possibly challenging for Europe. That's with Anderson though... We've got some big boots too fill on that front but I'm hoping the sale brings in two quality players

Some interesting conversations are being had around #NFFC’s home form this season and why it seems to have dropped off, but are the stats a bit misleading? There were losses to City and Liverpool that were unlucky and can just happen against the top sides, West Ham and Chelsea were the death rattles of exiting managers, Sunderland and Brighton were post European fixtures and both sides were in good form at the time, so there’s really only the Everton game that I look back on as a complete failure. The draws are probably just as much of an issue and even by just turning a couple of them into wins it makes a big difference. You’d consider draws against Arsenal, United, Villa and Newcastle as decent points most seasons, we had ten men for half of the game against Palace so again it’s only really the Fulham game where we were unlucky to be a millimetre offside, and Wolves where you win that game ninety nine times out of a hundred, that you’d look back on as missed opportunities. So I don’t think Forest will have to be massively better next season to get to thirty plus points at home, and we’ve shown that we’re not a soft touch away from home anymore. Small margins.

@SusieMGoss I booked a seat on such a train recently. It was so full I couldn’t get to my seat. They didn’t compensate me for the train fare - despite the train being over an hour late - not did they apologise.

Hi @GWRHelp, what compensation are you offering to passengers who’ve paid £90 to travel on the massively over-booked, standing room only 19:04 train from Paddington to Plymouth? How can you force people to stand for hours when tickets cost so much? Disgusting!

I am truly appalled at the video posted by Israeli Cabinet Minister Ben-Gvir taunting those involved in the Global Sumud Flotilla. This violates the most basic standards of respect and dignity in the way people should be treated. We are in touch with the families of a number of British nationals involved to provide them with consular support. We have demanded an explanation from the Israeli authorities and made clear their obligations to protect the rights of our citizens and all those involved.

@Ballard_mufc How about the trapping and control of the ball using the arm? It's not just bounced off it.. Whether that's intentional or not it's controlling the ball using the arm. If he tries to move his arm away then I could at least understand but he doesn't.

Not one person is saying it didn't hit his arm! It clearly did! However it hit his thigh 1st therefore it's not deliberate! Its been the same rules all season so why are people getting confused on week 37?

@streetswept Same in rugby. Honestly think it's a combination of incompetence, arrogance, & the fact they keep meddling w/ the rules to try & fit some bollocks model of the game they have in their heads. How about making it simple again, e.g. if it touches the arm it's handball. Not that hard

@Jeffff_ The NFL has way more difficult-to-call laws (pass interference eg) and way WAY fewer blatantly wrong calls by the refs.

Hi @GNev2 seeing as you won't shut up about it: no handball, goal correctly allowed. If the contact order had been arm first or clearly unnatural/deliberate, it would’ve been different, but that’s not what happened. Hip/thigh contact first, then rebound to arm. That sequence means no deliberate handling & no “unnatural” enlargement in the way the law defines it, introduced to avoid penalising accidental rebounds. VAR’s clear & obvious error threshold also applies - if it’s not instantly obvious (& Michael Salisbury) didn’t see it as a foul), so the goal stands. It is your job to know this by the way.. so you can educate viewers.
Adam@AdamJoseph

Nobody deserved that decision to go against what they wanted more than Gary Neville. What he's become is a disgrace compared to what he was. Shameless bellend needs to go fuck himself if we're being honest about it.

@denismacdaid @David__Osland Minimum wage should be sufficient to survive without benefits for a full time worker. It is not. And wages stay depressed to maximise corporate profits at the expense of the taxpayer who does top them up by virtue of workers having to take benefits to survive. It's a massive con.

@Jeffff_ @David__Osland I’m not sure economics is your strong point. The taxpayer does not top up corporate profits. but benefits from their share of corporate profits. Wages at Tesco are generally at the low end because they are not highly paid jobs. They are minimum wage jobs. Mostly part time.

The boss of Tesco pays himself nearly eleven million quid a year while up to half his staff are so badly paid that they have to claim in-work benefits. Then politicians wonder why people are so pissed off these days.

@bwfc_elliot Under which part of the law do you want the goal disallowed? It wasn’t deliberate. The position of his arm was justifiable by his overall body movement. Mbuemo didn’t score, so the third bullet point is irrelevant.

That's the kind of decision that should make a referee lose their job. This has never happened before. He's watched a clear handball a million times, been told clearly that it's a handball, and still given it. An absolute disgrace. Forest should walk off the pitch

@denismacdaid @David__Osland It's corporate welfare, pure and simple. Anyone with a brain can see that, and it's not like people have a choice but to accept those wages. Why should the taxpayer top up corporate profits? Artifical wage stagnation is what we have here.

@Jeffff_ @David__Osland Wages are just wages. They are what the employer offers for jobs. Obviously a lot of people are accepting the wages offered. The fact that the State tops those wages up is a matter for the State. Tesco is a successful business and will remain so as long as people shop there.

@denismacdaid @David__Osland Also their decision to pay poverty wages and force the state to make up the shortfall. It's not just Tesco either.. That is the point of the post which, because you are absurdly thick and American, you appeared to either not understand or miss entirely.

@David__Osland The Tesco boss does not pay himself. The Shareholders, the people who own Tescos, they decide what he should be worth. They own the business and know what the appropriate pay packet should be and they authorise it. It is their business, their money, their decision. No one else.
