To be clear, I think the Nuggets can and should bounce back around Jokic but the core formula of the last 6 years seems over.
Jokic's Nuggets 2.0 must be more athletic, have more ball handling, and have more positive on ball defenders

This was by far the least enjoyable Nuggets season of the Jokic era. Almost from start to finish it's just felt off. Injuries, chemistry, defense, clutch time scoring.

No win, but Denver isn’t fading.
The Nuggets stayed composed, connected, and true to their identity.
The execution and fight are still there, proving this team isn't getting exposed, they’re just adjusting.
With this core, Denver remains a threat every time they hit the floor.

Yeah this a ‘everything must-go’ loss and it is what it is. You had opportunities to win and you failed.
I think Adelman is 100% gone.
The roster is different next year as well.

No matter what Jokić does the rest of his career, he needs to make sure he plays with more athletic guys. Outside of AG and Watson (both are hurt), that’s the biggest issue with the Nuggets.

Magic is my favorite player ever, but he played with a bunch of HOFers and had one of the most athletic teams in the league. Joker is on a roster of veterans with a combined 1 all-star appearances.

I’m just curious what the conversation would be if Magic Johnson won three straight MVPs, never played Bird in the Finals, won a title against the Sidney Moncreif Bucks, and choked twice against Ralph Sampson’s Rockets. Would people still call him the best in the world?
