Everyone else has 45 or lower. They stink when he doesn’t produce. They have one goal scorer over 20 goals (Celebrini) everyone has 19 or less. Not one defender with 30 points.
Askarov has a .886 SV% and a 3.46 GAA, and they’re in the worst division in hockey.

@_ChrisMaher Yes they are. 16th in the league with eliet youth at every position. Philly is riding 28+ year olds into the sunset (and not getting anywhere) at the expense of developing the limited high end youth they have

@Aaron_Torres Settle down Aaron. It was a couple of games. Miami and high point won’t even get to the sweet 16. If we are being honest, in any given year only half a dozen teams really have a chance to win and it ain’t EVER a mid major. 🙄

High Point went 30-4, hasn't lost since mid-January - and wouldn't have sniffed an at large bid
Miami (OH) went undefeated in the regular season, finished 31-1 and ended up in Dayton
We REALLY need to re-evaluate how we go about selecting at-large teams for the NCAA Tournament

I don’t buy the ELC….they’ve done it for others with Dorwart, Kaplan…probably do it with Martone this year. You gotta earn your spot!!!

@JameyBaskow Cutter didn’t want to play for the Flyers for whatever reason. Even if he did we’d probably have him at Center….and no guarantee he eclipses 40 with us with defensive coaching of Torts and Tocchet. It definitely sucks but Briere did ok in a difficult situation 🙄
