@vanillaflight Hate to say it… but we need Stevie to be President of Hockey Operations and a new GM. I love the point on prospects. They are not producing talent. If you aren’t up by year 2-3, they probably aren’t good enough for the NHL. The team is not built for March or the playoffs.

The guys who get points at a high level and the guys who bring significant toughness and grit EVERY night! If you are not explicitly one or the other (or the very rare both) type of player, get the F off this Team! Yzerman has got to figure this out! #LGRW

Thinking further about the Wings this morning and find myself in total disgust... The lack in urgency, guts, desire and nuts is so shameful. It's about to be 10 yrs since we as fans have enjoyed this Team in the playoffs. Attempting to build slowly and improve at the margins (1)

I don’t think there’s a better golf course on the planet than Riviera. It doesn’t have the views of Cypress, the iconic moments of Augusta, the history of St Andrews. But for pure golf, from 1-18, you can’t beat it.

@Nickolgolf Good assessment. Needs a full third course in my opinion. Prices are like Streamsong, which are a lot for drinks and food. They could definitely benefit from the Sand Valley approach. Keep it less expensive on the course. They need some more dinner options too. Liked it…

So to wrap it up, is it worth it compared to so many other places you can go, yes I would give it 8/10 on my rating system which takes into account. -Courses, experience, ease to get to, cost, housing at or near, and return ability (would you want to come back next year over doing something different), if they have chilled uncrustables 🤣

Lou Whitaker has a higher career WAR than the following second basemen: Ryne Sandberg, Roberto Alomar, Craig Biggio, Chase Utley, Joe Gordon, Jeff Kent, José Altuve. WAR is not a perfect metric, but when a player stands out that much vs. peers, voters should listen.

Would you bring Gleyber back if he’d sign another 1 year deal? His bad second half seems to have come from playing through a hernia - so maybe he could get back his first half self again next year… Not many better options if you want a stop gap to McGonigle…
