@JomboyMedia I mean Chapman isn't wrong...but he's also a prick
English

@JeffreyStill As long as it’s NOT Draper or Horcoff. Both would be pawns for Yzerman and both were exactly the type of solid role players that worked in their day, but do not have a place in today’s League

@vanillaflight Hate to say it… but we need Stevie to be President of Hockey Operations and a new GM. I love the point on prospects. They are not producing talent. If you aren’t up by year 2-3, they probably aren’t good enough for the NHL. The team is not built for March or the playoffs.
English

@MSmithDetroit My only argument with this is how you ‘ranked’ them. Obviously it’s opinion, but the Team’s 3 “best” hitters are Keith, McGonigle and Torres. The Team’s 3 most powerful hitters are Carpenter, Greene and Torkelson and yes, they will eventually get to that.
English

At the risk of being a pollyanna, I am not panicked so far:
- The Tigers three "best" hitters (Greene, Torkelson, and Carpenter) have been brutal. That won't last.
- Other guys have looked good early on (Keith, Dingler, Torres, obviously McGonigle, and Meadows at least looks like he won't be the disaster early spring foretold).
- They'll have guys over/underperform in the pen, that happens. They just need a little time to figure out who is who in the pecking order to elevate the most reliable guys in 2026.
- Skubal/Valdez are great hedges against any extended losing streak. No red flags with the other three starters yet (JV's stuff and velocity is fine, I think he'll figure it out).
- Not an excuse, but this team does not seem to like playing at altitude in Arizona. When their breaking stuff is more predictable closer to sea level, that should help.

The guys who get points at a high level and the guys who bring significant toughness and grit EVERY night! If you are not explicitly one or the other (or the very rare both) type of player, get the F off this Team! Yzerman has got to figure this out! #LGRW

@CodifyBaseball This isn’t MLB, it’s CB and he has his own standard…and if you don’t care for that standard, you are the problem…just ask him.
English

@m_bultman He probably walked out…and I wouldn’t blame him
English

Yzerman and every non-first line veteran ought to be very ashamed! When it has mattered most, these guys cratered! No heart, no focus, no honor. Embarrassing! #LGRW

Incoming #Michigan DT Alister Vallejo continues to work on his craft this off-season before he arrives to campus this summer.
He was one of my favorite signees last cycle.

Will Wade on NC State 👀
"I think some of the things have been mischaracterized on how I left, but I'm not gonna get into a back-and-forth. The people who need to know, know. When there's a situation like this, everybody has to cover, let's put it that way. I'm at peace with how I left... Look, they're pretty mad for a coach they didn't think was very good"

@erikschlitt If the Lions execute this exact Draft, Erik, it would be an A+ offseason...Which is incredible, considering the financial gymnastics necessary and the number of vets they (wisely) let walk. Here's hoping the chips fall as needed.
