After a pretty rubbish month, today was a better day. Job offer for the role I've been in talks about, offers on the table for the house, sold the truck, finished a few more jobs on the restaurant closure, had a glass (2) of wine whilst doing some work. Feel a bit normal again.

Well that was fun. After a stressful week and not much sleep, tonight we actually tried to get some shut eye. At 11.30 we hear a strange noise and I come downstairs to investigate to find two people trying to break into the house. Suspect we won't be sleeping tonight either.
